Hello, Nikki! How are you? Do you take oral contraceptives? If so, and you engage in unprotected intercourse while taking this antibiotic, it can increase your risk of pregnancy. Otherwise, it will not do so.

The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.
