Bentyl Side Effects Are Horrible

I have been on Bentyl for about 6 weeks and the constipation is so bad that I have had to take laxatives. I'm seriously thinking of not taking it anymore.

Hello, Kathy! How are you doing? Has there been any change?

Constipation is not a common side effect of this medication, it is actually listed by the FDA as being a very rare one.

Have you consulted your medical provider? You may need to try a different medication, this one may not be right for you.

Has anyone else experienced this while taking Bentyl?

I was on bentyl off & on for about four years now & ive been having vision issues . I went to ER for dizziness, light headness & anxiety , blurred vision & headaches . I had MRI done everything was normal but the Dr. informed me that these were serious side effects from taking bentyl needless to say I flushed the meds. I hope this helped someone with the same issues . I have learned now to look up side effects before taking any medicine
