Yes, it is also used to treat Congestive Heart failure and Chronic Renal Failure. Was it prescribed for some other reason?

my son just had his wisdom teeth removed. the bleeding doesn't seem to want to stop. he is on Benazepril and Digitek. Do they thin his blood? ## Linda, Both seem to be cardiac / blood pressure drugs, so it could be very possible that they would affect the amount of bleeding. Ultimately the oral surgeon should know about him being on these meds so that any additional precautions can be taken. The oral surgeon finally called and he said all was fine, that he had to dig deeper to remove them.
