All The Axiron Literature Says To Apply It Only Underarms. Why? Doesn't Other Skin Areas Absorb the liquid?

The skin there is generally thinner, so more will be absorbed and that is also a safer place to use it in order to prevent its transfer to other people, since it can cause problems for women and children.

So the concern is contact with other people. Not so much that it is unsafe for the user to apply it anywhere. Am I understanding that correctly?

Started using Axiron July 30th, waiting for arm pits to dry after putting it on blows. Since it's an alcohol based product, and I decided to dry my pits after showering, then applying the T. Much easier this way. It dries completely, then I put my deodorant on. I'm not worried about cross contaminating my deodorant. I'm the only one who uses it, and I typically only use deodorant once a day, at the same times. Haven't noticed any changes yet, negative or positive.

Why can't I just apply it behind the knees as it is thin there too. I have no worries of transferring any to someone, as I live alone. Reason I'm asking is because from using it in the armpit area it has been kinda raw or a burning sensation on one armpit. I'm going to try behind the knees

Michael, this is exactly what I do. Plus I have trimmed my armpit hair for better application.

Curious if you have found any benefits with applying Axiron to other sites of the body, instead of armpits? I recently tried the taint and have had some pleasing benefits. Especially with regards to my libido. Thanks.

I’ve been using Axiron for years. I quickly became frustrated because of odor. I’m not a person that typically stinks when my underarms sweat, unless I’ve used Axiron. I’ve been using alternative locations for over a year now with no ill or untoward effect.

I use two doses per day. One in the morning and one at bedtime.

I apply to the perineum and to the crease between the upper thigh and abdomen. No odor. No problems. May sting a little for about 30 seconds.

I’m careful to not apply when I’m likely to have intercourse.
