My husband takes Avandia for his diabetes. As far as I can find out Avandament is not as affective as Avandia is. Read this from the FDA web site. Always trying to give us cheaper drugs when the compr omise our health. Hope I helped.You can also ask your friendly pharmacist as the are very helpful to me where my meds ar concerned
