Aurobindo Vs Sandoz Adderall And Chronic Pain

Updated

Has anyone had any issues with aurobindo causing chronic pain, this all started when I was taking vyvanse 2 years ago then switching to aurobindo, I had lower back pain numbness, but when I stopped taking my adhd meds the pain went away. I am being switched to Sandoz medication 10mg tomorrow, can someone give me any reference to this type of generic?

YES!!!! Doesn't work like Teva. Been on this med most my life! Started using pharmacy at Dr office and they use Aurobindo. Started having extreme back pain, leg pain, foot pain all right side. Migraines, falling asleep. I quit taking for 30 days. All symptoms stopped. I am going to speak to my dr. I would stay away from it at all costs. Walgreens still uses Teva. i have used them forever and am going back. Good luck. .God Bless. Please note this is a division of Pharmco not the parent company. It is located in India. There have been many issues with subsidiaries in the past. Just google it.

Thank God, I took my dose today and my back is killing me, 'surprise.' I am excited to take sandoz on saturday, I hear so many good things!

Wow! I am very sorry about the problem you both experienced with the product from that manufacturer. You are not the only ones that have posted about this, no everyone does badly with their product, but there are others that have had bad experiences, too.

Frankly, I dread whenever my pharmacy switches to a different manufacturer, I am very sensitive to medications, and any slight fluctuation can really mess with me.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, anorexia, and insomnia.

When will either of you be able to get a new fill?

I actually went today to get my script filled, apparently I forgot when I picked it up because I was 5 days early, but the pharmacist thought it was funny. I am picking up Sandoz on monday, I am honestly super excited, I have only tried adderall XR, Adderall IR aurobindo and Vyvanse, I am very excited! Plus this pharmacy acts like they care a lot, and said that they could order in sandoz for me without me even asking.

Update, I just started Sandoz 10mg x2 a day a few days ago, experiencing the same debilitating back aches and pain that caused me to become disabled due to back issues in the past. I am about to switch to either TEVA generic IR or DEXEDRINE.

Aurobindo causes me to have cervicogenic myofascial pain syndrome with cervicogenic headache. Teva is the only one that is effective for me with little to no side effects. I am filing for class action. It needs to be done. Are you in?

Re: Yui (# 6) Expand Referenced Message

Teva does not cause the pain syndrome. It's called cervicogenic myofascial pain syndrome. Teva is the only one out of Sandoz, Core, and Mylan that has not caused the pain syndrome however it is a tad less effective so I'd recommend a slight dosage increase.

Re: Kelly (# 7) Expand Referenced Message

I took 5mg teva instead of sandoz I noticed an increase in focus no muscle twitching no pains. I am still recovering from the immense pain of the sandoz.j just do not understand why this happens.... No answers anywhere online.my doctors think it's an odd cause.

Also my back issues vanished as soon as I quit taking xr and vyvanse.

Yui (# 8) --

Adderall’s main job is to allow you to maintain focus, and it accomplishes this by both releasing chemicals into your body and triggering the body itself to release chemicals such as dopamine. The problem is that the release of dopamine can often signal the body to make its muscles, specifically those in the neck and shoulders, go rigid. This can cause tension and pain within those muscles, which can go on to produce a headache from Adderall.

Kelly (# 10) --

I understand that completely, however, what confused me for the last few years I knew nothing about the effects and I was in psychical therapy for a back issue (herniated disc) that did not exist as soon as I quit taking the medications. Although I am surprised, TEVA is working great so far!

I don't take Adderall, but there is something very wrong with the drug I take that Aurobindo manufactures. I have filed a complaint with the FDA.

Re: Sandy (# 13) Expand Referenced Message

Hello sandy, I agree, I just got off of adderall itself and got on dexedrine by aurobindo, the rage, anger, pains and no control over my distractions really made me decide never to take generics again, I am switching back to ritalin pure brand for now on. jeez... why is it so hard! l;ol

Re: yui (# 14) Expand Referenced Message

I will tell you what the problem is - big pharma. I was told that the generic I was taking for a long time which was just fine was too expensive, so the FDA is approving drugs from overseas manufacturers who are making them quite cheaper. This company Aurobindo is in India and it has been approved for just 2 years in the US to sell the drug I take. I noticed in my research the US pharmacies are carrying this drug made by other companies too who I can't even find online. Sooner or later we're all going to be sick from the medicine that is supposed to make us better because it is nothing but crap.

I have been taking Amphetamine Salts for ADD for years. I am now on my second perscription with aurobindo. I didmt know the brand just knew it was different. I am not sure what my former scripts we're but knew it was different. If you bite a tablet it is like glue, and doesn't work at all. I too have felt exhausted, unfocused , angry and impatient on it. Now after reading these posts I know it's not my imagination!!!

Re: Koralanne (# 16) Expand Referenced Message

Same here. I got two 2/20mg Adderall scripts from Aurobindo after I had already had a bad experience with their Xanax, and looking back at old scripts the same with Gabapetin! But get this - it gets worse. My Purdue/Rhodes Pharma Percocet causes crazy sciatic nerve pain first thing in the morning. I’d shake for hours in a heating blanket. I depend on my ADD meds to be proper, to make it to my Drs and basic chores and walk my dog. And omg I’m straight up nursing home style. I’m so freaked out!

I don't go to the Er cause of my dog, and they're useless here, and CVS is criminal straight up. They bought Aetnea and both haggle with drug companies to give Medicaid and medicare people 3rd world poor quality controlled stuff. Oh, and it gets better! The pharmacists are blocked from ordering the ones that have less to no complaints. That’s why they shut it down. I’m sorry, I can’t live like this. I’ve spent every dollar I have making sure my water, air, foods, vitamins, and toiletries are all natural and organic, and have gone broke trying to cure myself. I spent all of my back dated Disabilty that was supposed to move me. It’s just me and my french bulldog. And I go food shopping once a month and load up with a deeper...

But stay away from CVS don’t let your Dr call in a controlled script. You ask which company it is and if it’s an AA GENERIC OR AB GENERIC! It’s time to get a lawsuit going. This is madness. I’ve taken ADD meds since 1991, Xanax since 2003, opiates since 2007 ... even non controlled drugs are targets. Anything in the mental health or pain category, and if you get Medicaid or Medicare OMG watch out! You have to list two generics you’ve tried and what side affects they gave and tell your Dr to please fill out the cumbersome paperwork.

Medicaid has to cover it after you’ve tried two different positions of course. Or poor quality controlled companies that have had 8 recalls. Aurobindo, Perdue/Rhodes, and Mylan. And west VA US shady joe man-bun got his unqualified daughter a 12 mil a year CEO job! Now how does a Democrat like Joe Manchin get elected twice in the most republican states?!! Mylan Also has had Fentanyl patches, crappy Adderall...

I know these meds since 1991, 1993, 2007, come on now... me popping 2-3 20mgs of Adderall would have me so nervous and shaky and OCD, not yawning after 15 mins, which I used to walk. WTF are we all gonna do? Live like the golden girls? Actually, they got around. This just isn’t cool ... but let’s all continue Trump vs Democrats. He also pushes this cheaper drug stuff like it’s amazing it is not it is costing lives and livelihoods!

After just one experience with CVS changing my Alprazolam RX from Sandoz to Aurobindo, then telling me, 'tough luck', when I told them there was something wrong with this manufacturer, I have written them off. If you have a Kroger in your area, they will work with you. In fact, the store I go to is full of compassionate caring people. Try them & see if they will order from the mfg you want.

Re: Sandy (# 19) Expand Referenced Message

Same to me with cvs and Aurobindo for my Xanax and Adderall and my Rhodes Percocet I’ve gotten hit majorly with 3 crap drugs ! They are evil
I had a long list and got off each one one by one to see which was doing which

It’s so evil Aurobindo is awful and I was treated the same way ! Cvs is dirty they get to haggle with drug companies on top of your actual insurance so they give you the crappest of crap especially if you are Medicaid and Medicare !! Atnea etc then get this pharmacists try and get the ones with less issues and they are blocked from ordering them in

But Perdue and Rhodes and company is the evil they have made a generic Percocet thst when it fades it makes you have tremors thinking you need more and more
