Diarrehea For 3 Weeks

Husband has had diarrhea for three weeks now after having a flu shot. Lab tests say no bacteria or parasites. ## Husband is improving. Doctor prescribed diphen/atropine. ## Hi Nancy, It sounds to me like your husband may have had food poisoning or something of that nature. Does he recall if he's been eating something that could've triggered the diarrhea in the first place? Other questions I would ask, is if your husband has been on any sort of detox supplement, laxative, or otherwise eating a lot of citrus fruits that promote loose stools. From my perspective as a future dietitian; one things for sure, whatever food was built up in his digestive tract was ready to be pushed out.
