How Long Does Symbicort Stay In System

my allergist had me take a puff of Symbicort in his office. However, when I came home and looked online - it is a direct interaction with my BP Med (Propranolol) How long does it take this one puff to get out of my system!? ## I checked the interactions and there is one, but it's not really anything you need to concern yourself about unduly, it just has to do with the efficacy of the Symbicort and doesn't affect the workings of the Propranolol. Using the two together actually just decreased the efficacy of the Symbicort, so it doesn't work as well, because it doesn't have as much of a bronchodilating effect as it would otherwise. Learn more Propranolol details here. Learn more Symbicort details here. I hope this eases your mind. :-) How are you doing? ## i take symbicort...

white cross energy pills

smaller than an asprin and makes you want to get up and go, fast ## I am not sure what you are asking, if you need me to identify your I will need more information about the pill. If you need me to locate a drug or it's ingredients, I will need more informaiton as well. Please post back so i can assist you with your question. ## It's about half the size of an asprin, it's white, plain on one side, an X or a cross on the other side. That's all there is to it. ## The only pill I could locate with just an X on it is Sennosides 17 mg, but it's brown and round. I will keep trying to see if I can find any more. ## those pills are probably no longer available. we used to buy them in the 70's for $20 per 100. 2 in the morning and you were ready for anything including los...

Thanks ## Hello, Theresa! How are you? Sorry about the problem you're having. However, I need to ask what exactly it is that you're allergic to? Is it sulfa drugs, sulfates or sulfites? What type of reaction do you have and how did you discover the allergy? These are all important details to determine what may or may not be safe for you to use. tedral use as a child

I used Tedral and Tedral SA as a child. In fact I overused and became addicted so much that I would be using 3 SA a night along with 6 or more tedral throughout the day with Ventilon. I only managed to get off them when I became a speed addict. I have been clean and relapsed a few times over the years but was a heavy drinker. Now sober I have trouble concentrating, sitting still, ect....and I think I have ADHD which I probably always had but through Tedral and speed, anti depressants it's been controlled to one degree or another. I now have real problems at work at home and I have now an methods addiction. When I take it I feel calm. Am I self medicating to control my ADHD I believe so. And I also believe that long term childhood use and over use did do some damage to my brain. I ha...

tedral magnified senses

I thought i was mentally unbalanced. Seeing enlargements of real life in front of me. Increased hearing sensitivity. Shrinking rooms in front of me own eyes. For years thinking it was me. An unbalanced. Self. It all stopped as i got older until one day I was having an asthmatic condition and took the medicine the doctor had me take 3 times a day! Tedral!. The truck in front of my eyes, as i worked on the engine, seemed to shrink like what happened 5 ears previously. when I was taken tedral regularly. I wasn't crazy after all--- It was the medicine! Anyone else experience shrinking heads, feelings of speed' before the term existed? Why was it taken off the market? Everyone have these problems? It would be nice to hear from others about their Tedral experience. This occurred 1952 ...

I MUST have my voice for work- How long does it take to get Symbicort out of the system - thank you ## Are you certain the voice loss is related to the Symbicort? Has your doctor confirmed this? This is not a commonly reported side effect. However, if it was caused by the medication, most of them can take a month or so to process out of your body. ## Symbicort affected my voice as well. It took about 2 months before it completely returned. (I continued using it during that time.) ## use a spacer. ## I've been on Symbicort for 9 days and lost my voice after the the 5th day. It's coming back now, and I also continued the use of the Symbicort since it provided so much reli...

Symbicort

Is Symbicort a pharmaceutical company? ## According to my container, Symbicort is made by the AstraZeneca UK Ltd. Or is it merely marketed by them? Oh, yes, I see that it's made by them at S-151 85 Sodertaije, Sweden, according to their leaflet ## Yes, Symbicort is made by AstraZeneca: mysymbicort.com/default.aspx ## That is correct, Symbicort is the name of a medication, not the name of a pharmaceutical company. As noted above, the pharmaceutical company that manufactures it is AstraZeneca. Symbicort is most commonly used to treat COPD, and asthma. Its typical side effects may include cough, rapid breathing, indigestion, throat irritation, and nausea. Is there anything I can help with?

This medicine is an antibacterial and steroid combination used in the eye to treat infections and to relieve the redness, irritation, and discomfort associated with certain eye problems. Bloating belly from Xolair and other asthma drugs

l am using xolair and getting cramps, sore joints, head aches, but am putting weight on as well as stomach bloating. Also not sleeping well at night. Is this common with Xolair or other asthma medications? ## Hello, Chris! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems that you're experiencing. Everything you've described are listed as being possible side effects of this medication, as reported by the FDA, except the bloating. You may also experience dermatitis, sinusitis and voice changes. Bronchitis, resultant asthma like symptoms

Severe bronchitis event, followed by bronchial spasms and all nite coughing. Now feel somewhat asthmatic, had asthma as a child up to age 12 now 81. Was the coughing injurious to the avolia and should I not be surprised if this became permanent. ## Hello, JaCee! How are you? Our bodies do change, as we age, so it is possible that you've just developed asthma, again. It could even be the factor behind your developing bronchitis, according to the NIH. It happened to me recently, too. I'm 45 and had not had any severe allergy problems in years and no asthma attacks, either… but suddenly, I started having respiratory allergy issues, again, they lingered for awhile, turned into bronchitis and I still get asthma attacks. It is annoying, but just the way our bodies work, sometimes...

Xolair WORKS for Chronic Hives

I have had chronic hives for 10+ years. I've taken Prednisone, Benedryl, Zantac, Zyrtec & Several other medications to lesson the effects of this awful curse. Surprising side effects

Started using Symbicort with aerochamber couple days before Txgiving, in accordance with Dr.'s advice (first time user) - I've lost 1/3 of breathing capacity and developed asthma from exposure to toxic mold. First time I used it, felt trembley, nervous - like I was on amphetamines. However, did relieve tightness in chest and improved breathing. Persisted in spite of side effects - as days went on, Symbicort was seeming to help less and less. Also, the tone of my voice changed and was tremulous. Yesterday was the straw that broke the camel's back - I felt short of breath, very nervous and shaky - to the point where I considered a visit to the ER. Heart was also racing. Next day called the doc - explanation was "some people have a paradoxical reaction" (my interpretati...

Dark green and light green capsule with SA from mexico

I have a friend who is taking a capsule that she got from mexico. She says it curbs her hunger and gives her energy and focus while she is eating very little. Sounds dangerous, I'm trying to figure out what it is. The pharmacia opens the box, pops it out of the foil packs, and gives it to her to walk across the border without declaring. Any ideas what it is? Im scared it has ephedrine in it, and sometimes she drinks while on it, etc!
