Asacol Benefits

I am a senior and have cut my prescription expense and Asacol was one I had discontinued due to the cost. Now I am suffering the consequences of this action. I am hoping for alternative steps to remedy this problem.

I cannot find any Asacol suppositories in South Africa. Firstly why was it discontinued? And secondly, what can I do now? Please help as I'm not getting answers anywhere.

Rozounna, have you consulted your doctor about using an alternative medication? Are you on any other medications?
