I have a question in regards Alcachofavida (artichoke liquid solution) that contains apple vinegar, fennel fluid, L-cCarnitine, L-Lisine).I want to know if this product is healthy for the body and wich will be the side effects. Somebody told me someone have had some liver problems. I am looking around online and the only thing is there is about how good it is and how to get it. I haven't really found any medical comment or warning about it. I took this product for about two weeks and I lost a lot of weight. I am not sure if I want to continue, I want to have a serious opinion first. I want to loose more weight but I don't want to damage my body and my health.

The reason you aren't finding such information is because this is not a prescription drug, but a nutritional supplement.

That means that the side effect profile and long-term health effects are not studied for it.

Live problems can occur anytime that anyone uses too much of something or takes it for far too long, but it does rarely occur from nutritional supplements.

Do you have any other questions?

I have been taking it for over two months and have lost 16 pounds. Because it is not available in the US, a friend drug tested herself to make sure that there was nothing illegal in it. Tests were clean. The only people that I know that have reported problems with it, had a lot of other health concerns that might have actually been causing the problems. I looked up each ingredient and do not see anything harmful.

I am 37 years old and had a biloboctomy performed on my right lung 5 years ago and been very healthy since then. I have overweight and in Mexico there are some Alcachofa ampoules (artichoke) with apple vinegar, fennel fluid extract, L-carnitine and L-lisine that people is strongly recommending to lose weight.
Do you know how do they work? Could I have some serious problem regarding my right lung with only the upper lobe?
Thank you,

I know one person who had bad side effects. Her doctor told her that one of the ingredients had interacted with a medication that she was taking. I have friends whose doctors have recommended it. The only thing that I can think of that would cause liver problems is the artichoke extract because it can affect gallstones, however, that would be for a person who already had a problem. I have been taking it for over 4 months now. No problems and it has helped me maintain my 16 lb weight loss. Some people prefer the pills over the amps because it is easier to swallow a pill. I still like the amps.

I have bought them about 5 times but have always given them away cuz I'm afraid to take them. I've heard of so many people that have lost and are loosing weight with Alcachofa. Are you sure there is no side effect? One doctor did say that they do have side effects but did not say what type.

I still haven't found anyone with major problems taking it. It does not make my heart race or cause diarrhea. Those are usually the two major diet pill side effects. I know someone who has lost 60 lbs on it. Another friend had her cholesterol and triglcerides drop drastically. I am still a believer! Ican't find anything bad about it on the web.

My husband was just diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, he also just started taking high blood pressure medication. Since this is all natural, is he able to take alcachofa? My glucose levels were usually between 230-280 after meals. I am now at 89 - 113. I've been taking 500mg once a day for 5 days.

Alcachofavida was recommended to me by a doctor from Mexico, I took the ampoules as instructed by her for 60 days, I lost 19 lbs very easily since the supplements suppressed my appetite & I was better able to control my portions. She recommended I stop them for a week then start them again (that will be this Saturday). The only side effects I noticed were: 1) dry mouth (it's recommended to drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day), 2) Loss of appetite (this is great for controlling what I eat and portion control) 3) I noticed palpitations (LOTS of them!) even though I was told these would not occur and they stopped during this week when I am not taking the alcachofa (I will see if they start again on Saturday). My goal is to lose another 21 lbs and then maintain my weight. I've had palpitations for many years so I am not overly concerned but I am having myself checked out by a doctor just in case... Hope this helps...

I have been taking alcachofivida for several months and have maintained my weight between 15 to 20 lbs. My cholesterol dropped from 256 to 156. My liver was tested and is in perfect condition. I stopped taking my prescribed cholesterol medicine a month ago. I also take multivitamins and Chromium picolinate (500 mcg). I have had no side effects taking alcachofivida; I love it! I owe it all to my hispanic co-worker who orders them from his uncle.

I have purchased the Alchachofa Vida twice each in one month supply increments. The first time around the vials had a silver aluminum top, the second order came with a gold aluminum top.Has anyone else seem the gold aluminum tops? is it legit? should I be afraid its a fake?

Another note: The packaging looks normal according to others that I have seen except for the fact that the wording says " Dietary Supplement Based on Alchachofa" instead of just "Dietary Supplement" as I have seen on some packaging. Is this also legit.

I get mine from are they legit???

I haven't noticed much of a weight loss physically since the one month that I've been taking it. however I haven't done a weigh in since my cycle which ended yesterday.

I recently went to Tijuana and purchase alcachofa pills and ampolletas but I did notice the difference in packaging color of the box and nutritional facts when comparing 2 different boxes. I bought some in LA and the others in tijuana. Is this normal? Also the pills I recently bought have the logo on the actual pill and the others didn't. Is this labor or not and if not which are the real ones?

I have purchased the Alchachofa Vida twice now - once it had a gold top and this time it has a silver top. They are both the same so don't worry. I have no side effects except for a headache now and then. I lost 5.5 lbs in the first week. I'm on my second week now.
