bursitis ## I have terrible pain in my knees so I consulted an orthopaedic and he has prescribed rotec t5 after an x'ray. I just want to know the side effects of this medicine and whether I should go for other tests? ## Arthrotec contains Diclofenac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, and Misoprostol, which is used to help protect the stomach from the damage that the Dicolfenac could potentially cause. Other side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, and increased risk of bleeding. It is often prescribed to help with such conditions, because it can reduce the inflammation that contributes to the pain these conditions can cause. Substitution for arthrotec

There are generics available for the drugs that are in arthrotec and I am wondering if it will be as effective if I take them separately. It would be a lot less expensive. ## You can find Arthrotec 50 for about $ .50 per pill versus approximately 8 times that price from an americam drug company. These are made by Pharmicia Limited (a Pfizer subsidery) ## Yes, taking them separately will still work the same as taking them combined in one medication. It is often done, if it is cheaper for someone than buying the combined, or name brand medication. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding and stomach irritation. Arthrotec is listed as containing Diclofenac and Misoprostol. Is there anything else I can help with?

Rumoquin N F Where Can I Buy It

I just found Rumoquin NF at Mexipharmacy. They don't seem to take credit cards, but offer other ways to buy. I've been taking Arthrotec 75 for about 14 years for arthritis all over my body. My pain seems to respond favorably to diclofenac and Arthrotec 75 contains misprostol as well, a stomach protectant. However, I ran out when last in Mexico and was sold Rumoquin NF at a farmacia. The diclofenac worked its wonders, but the additional ingredients, dexamethasone and methocarbamol, seem to potentiate the relief. Rumoquin NF is also orders of magnitude cheaper and I generally need take only one per day. Win/win. ## i would like to order some of the rumoquin how much is it? im from sacramento, ca ## Stacey, try mexipharmacy. Rumoquin NF is not easy to find, but seems to be sold pri...

Arthrotec generics

Will taking diclofenac/misoprostol separately (generics for the drugs in Arthrotec) be as effective as taking them combined as one pill. It will be much less expensive to take 2 generics. ## It's possible, but hard to say, have you tried asking your doctor or pharmacist about this? The Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and the Misoprostol is there, really, just to help protect your stomach from the irritation and damage it may cause.
