Apply For Help Paying Savella

I have fibromyalgia, have suffered for years with no diagnosis. I have been on Lyrica and Cymbalta, no help. I have been on Savella for over a year now and I finally got my life back. I am unemployed and going to college full time on line. My husband is on social security from heart problemss and major stroke last Aug. I need to be able to take care of him and myself. Recently my insurance coverage changed and the new one will only cover generic. I really need help with this medicine. I am receiving unemployment but it is hard to stretch the money out with my perscription and all the perscriptions my husband is on. I am running out of my savella in 2 week, I ask my doctor to change to something eles but he says this has worked so good for me and he has not seen me so good in 5 years. Please help

I have fibromyalgia, I have suffered for over 10 years and was only diagnosed a little over a year ago. I have tried Lyrica and Cymbalta, neither one worked. I have been on savella for over a year and am doing better. I still have bad spells where I cant hardly move for a couple days but before the savella I was not able to do hardly any thing. I also have degenerate arthritis, I have severs pain in my joints and my fingers are getting really large knots on them. Sometimes my palm area near my thumbs hurt so bad I just want to cut them off. This is off and on, but when its on I cant even button my shirt, open a can or pop lid. I have been layed off for 2 years and am going to college. My insurance is outrageous, I pay over $300 a month and it will not pay for my savella. If I could just get a disocunt on the price it would really help. My husband is disable and can not work. I am his main caretaker, he is parylzed and I have to do alot of manual moving and lifing. I really need to be able to continue the savella. I remember how lousy my life was before the savella and I cant go back there or I will not be well enough to take care of my husband. Please Help

So sorry to hear about your current challenges. At this point the best thing which I could recommend (if your insurance company is not cooperating), is to apply for the patient assistance program for Savella.

I have fibromyalgia and at times the pain is unbearable. My husband is disabled and I am the bread winner and his caregiver. We are in a chapter 13 bankruptcy for 2 1/2 more years and after they are done I work all month for 200.00 and my husband is on limited income. Not working and missing days of work is not an option.The savella is the only medicine that has worked so far. please help me.

I was taking Savella for several months 50mg twice a day then I lost my insurance and could no longer afford it. I am on long term disability due to fibromyalgia and spinal problems. Without the Savella I have been in so much pain that I rarely leave the house and I have a lot of trouble sleeping. I there any help out for people who can not afford Savella?

Contact manufacturer they maybe able to help. Maybe doctor can give you samples till you can find help.

Just started Savella with a monthly co-pay of$45.00 a month with doc visits co-pay and other medications I won't be able to afford it! waiting on first prescription now! On disability due to RA nothing seems to help PAIN! PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!
