how safe is hetrazan if you are suffering from hypothyroidism,diabetes, arthritis & gastritis ? ## I am suffering from vericose veins and inflammation of legs . My dr prescribed me hetrazan 100 for 21 days (thrice in a day) for heavily sneezing, mucus, and congestion, but after 6 days of taking the course i am suffering more than I previously was. So should I stop taking it or will it start being helpful after 21 days?

Hi, I took one tabled of albendazole 5 hours ago and since then I feel my stomach burning , heart burns and went to the toilet three times already , and my poop looks darker than usual and softer... From what I know I don't have worms but here in Brazil you have to take this pill once a year. Is normal to feel this after taking it ? Thanks in advance.

I received a pkg today its says albendazole tab ip. The zenlzole tablets then says albendazole ip 400mg orange oblong with no marking. The only gray area I see is based on where or how you got your prescription filled (i.e. mail-order v.s. a licensed pharmacy)... The latter doesn't dispense fake medication, albeit sometimes ineffective depending on different brands/generics. supposed to be sunset yellow..are big oblong with rounded edges, light peach in color. no markings except a place to break them. came in silver punch individual packaging all placed in a baggy. says manufactured by specturm, a division of biochem from india. No other markings on them. ## Hi Jeannie, The only conclusion I can come to in regards to the difference in color, is that the manufacturer used different inactive ingredients as opposed to other manufacturers of Albendazole. Did you purchase these pills from a trusted source? ## That is actual what i received today (from combitic global). Did this work for you ?

I was having wheezing & no cough. After sleep getting midum mucus. Initially took amox, citrazine,& avail but no improvement, later dr proscribed hetrazan 100. Cedadur 500. Budecort 200 2 puff. Like to know Hetrazan 100 is it safe to take for wheezing since it's given for asthma. Please reply

I have testicular pain for past three weeks.. Scan, xray, urine and blood results are normal.. Nothing wrong in these results..doctor prescribed me trinerve lc and hetrazan.. What could be the cause of this pain?? And are these medicines good? I am using it since last 3 months. 2 tablets daily. ## Hetrazan contains the active ingredient Diethylcarbamazine, it is used to treat infections of different types of worms. As to the side effects, they usually only last for the first 4 to 6 weeks of using the medication, so you really shouldn't be experiencing many, after 3 months. I have taken this tablet for past three months . My problem was under control by then. So I stopped eating the tablet..I already have hydroid cyst in the right lobe of the liver.I have consulted the gastroentology. The treatment for dis cyst given by the doctor was albendazole tablet for three months. Now there is no problem of the cyst. I have a doubt whether there is a connection between diarrhoea and the cyst. Again i have the diarrhoea problem. Mucus is also released now. What do I do now? Is there a permanent solution for my problem?

My child aged 8 years complained of headache and vomitting sensation. Her blood test report shown esnophiles as 18 while the normal range is 1 - 6. She has been prescribed hetrazan 100 mg (1/2 tab x 3 times), histafree M - 1/2 tab at night. Is this prescription right ?

When prescribed most common drugs you either are given one tablet 3 times a day or one tablet 4 times a day to take . I was told that tablets are taken on a 12 hour cycle if so that would mean one tablet 3 times a day would be one every 4 hours (3 x 4 =12) so one 4 times a day would be one every 3 hours (4 x 3 = 12) IS THIS CORRECT. I am suffering by dizziness and finding difficulty while walking and difficult balancing my body in stand-up position. Having this problem for the last two years. Someone I know suggested me to take hetrazan for 10 days. since he got cured from this same symptom by using hetrazan 15 years ago.
