I want to keep my levels more consistent has anyone tried to split up the pumps. Meaning my doc prescribed 2 pumps a day at night after I shower. I was thinking of 1 pump at night before I go to sleep and 1 pump in the am before I go to work to keep my testosterone levels more balanced instead of 2 pumps at once. Been taking 1.62 for 2 mos now, nothing has changed. Am I expecting too much, or have I not given it enough time. Its getting depressing, I haven't had an erection in 2 yrs. ## I'm reporting about my own progress. I'm on the beginning of the 3rd month of using Androgel. To this day, nothing has changed. I get 6-7 hrs of sleep a night, and still start to fall asleep @ work. No difference in anything so far. I'm getting discouraged with the whole thing. I am 24 and have Klinefelter syndrome. my test levels vary from 94 to the highest at 136. I have never been able to gain muscle and Always tired. I wonder if anyone else has had something like this. I am 55 years old. After starting Androgel, my energy levels rose, my sweating episodes cease and my wife and I were both became very delighted with the return of our sex life. However, there is a dark side. I have also become obsessed with pictures of naked men – specifically, their genitals. It’s like looking at a Playboy when I was 12. I find myself thinking about joining a gym just to go to shower room. Clearly all of this is very different for me and it is very uncomfortable. I am embarrassed to talk about it to my doctor. Been on androgel for about 2 weeks. I walk about 3 miles most morning. Since taking meds have problem with penis tip rubbing my pants an undershorts. Funny but driving me crazy im sore changed to tight jockeys good cotton. As far as libido not so much. Will wait couple more weeks to retest. So far kinda dissappointed but will continue to take. I have been applying my husband's Androgel to his shoulders. He has a cast on one arm and is unable to do it himself right now. I wear a disposable glove each time. I have noticed a cooling, menthol-like feeling through the glove, which I assume is from the alcohol in it. I also noticed the inside of the glove seems wet when I take it off. I am 63 years old, married and began taking Androgel to improve flagging performance. Recently I have found myself curious about child pornography. I have been on testim 1% for 6 years and my TT has consistently been in the range of 450-500, using 2 tubes daily. Last May, my insurance company dropped testim and I am now starting to use Androgel 1.62. My new endocrinologist took me offer everything for 2 weeks to see where my numbers were. My TT was 190 an bioavailable and free T were 1/2 the # (bottom range) for both. My new doctor has started me on 1 pump daily of the 1.62. Most folks that post on this and other forums either started on injections or started on gel and then switched to injections for various reasons. I am curious if anyone has switched back to gels after using injections and if so why? I am considered doing just this as even though my Total T numbers are higher with injections I believe I have more energy and focus while on gel. ## I haven't read any posts, so far, where someone said they'd switched back. However, what I can say is that you should do what's best for you. Stopped for 8 months. Was producing A level of 300 by following dr Mercolas Natural plan. Went back on Androgel per Dr. On the new 1.62 formula 3 pumps for 4 months. Was on 1% at 6 pumps. Actually did 4. 6 was too much Now I'm noticing poor sensitivity to arousal. I was performing better without Viagra before I stopped and restarted HRT. Perhaps have my hemoglobin too high ? My moods before my menstrual cycle have been really bad lately, severely depressed and/or really grouchy. My cycle is usually light but this month it was extremely heavy. The day I start everything seems back to normal. Can his use of the Androgel be affecting my horomones? ## Not unless you're coming into contact with it. How old are you? Once past 35, it is normal for your hormones to start to fluctuate, this is the phase that's considered perimenopause, so that could be what's causing your problem.

I have been using the gel for over nine months. My initial visit and test results were 152 clearly low for 55 years old. I started on two pumps a day and was retested 3mon. later with an increase to 583 and PSA in normal limits. Continued two pumps a day for 3 more months. Blood test results dropped to 128 lower than before I started taking it. So the Dr. upped the dose to three pumps a day. I have been on four pumps of Androgel for about a year. I have noticed that if my erection is really strong I can't feel ejaculation, or other times I don't have a strong erection I still ejaculate. I was wondering if other men had experienced this?

My husband has been using Androgel gel pump for over 10 years. Recently he tested over 1200 and then 2400 3 months later. We have no explanation for this other than maybe his body has begun making it's own testosterone again. ## Has your husband changed his diet while on this medication? If this is so, I know that to some degree, one's eating habits can effect the body's ability to effectively restore testosterone production; of course with the help of this supplement it can be common. At this point I would consider tapering down on the supplement (if needed) while keeping track of these tests to see if the results still fluctuate. My husband has been using AndroGel and I've been in contact with it. I'm 47 and I've noticed that some of my body hair has increased and is darker and there's more of it. I've been on Androgel 10 yrs. Initially, an injection at first caused extreme mood swings. Then pump (4 pumps/ day = complete dose), started reducing last year, now 1/day. But, when I stop completely: profuse sweating, easily irritated, mood swings (like andropause - "mano-pause"). ## Rick how long have u been off now and are your symptoms getting better?
