Amrix (cyclobenzaprine) is a potent pain killer which works by supressing the central nervous system. It has an additive effect with alcohol, and long half life which means high risk for overdose. This drug is very dangerous and should not be used other than how prescribed.

I'm sorry, but that is not correct.

Amrix does contain the active ingredient Cyclobenzaprine, but it is just a muscle relaxant, it is used to help treat the muscle pain that's associated with sprains, strains and spasms.

Thus, it is not a potent pain killer and it isn't known to be addictive or have a high risk of overdose.

The abuse of any medication can be dangerous, but this is not a narcotic or anything related to them, so the risks with this are much lower.

Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and headache.
