Amlodipine 5mg Dosing

I have been advised by my doctor to take amlodipne 5mg twice daily. Is amlodipine a single dose medicine or it can be taken in equal doses twice daily?

I am taking NORVASC 10 mg tablet daily. I am now working in Bahrain and they have only NORVASC 5mg capsules. I have been taking the white tablet form. Are these NORVASC 5mg capsules similar with Norvasc 5mg tablets?

You should take the dosage your doctor has prescribed and you should take it as they have prescribed.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of these medications as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension.
