American Equivalent Drug Number For Zinnat (ceftin)

Can anyone please give me the AE (american equivalent) number for "Zinnat" which is apparently the foreign name for "Ceftin" that was made by Glaxo Smith Kline?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but there's no such thing as an "American equivalent drug number" - at least to my knowledge.

Are you referring to a National Drug Code (NDC)?

If so, one would need to know more pill information such as the shape, color, imprint, etc., in order to begin a deeper investigation that would take into account both the active as well as the inactive ingredients for a closer comparison.

NOTE: Ceftin contains the active ingredient Cefuroxime, an antibiotic which is available in America by prescription-only.

Hi David, according to my insurance company they need the “American Equivalent Drug Number” before they will reimburse me for the drug called “Zinnat” which I purchased in Antigua.
