Has your child's doctor said that they should take it?

This medication is used to help remove mucus, thus it may not always help with a dry cough, since it helps increase the production of sputum and thin it, so it isn't as thick. The NIH lists its side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and dry mouth.

In children this young, it is always best not to give them any medication, unless a pediatrician approves.

How are these children doing, now? Are they on any other medications?

Hi,

My daughter is 1.5 months old and is suffering from cold and cough..she was on an IV antibiotic for 5 days a week ago due to inflammation in the lungs..The doctor now prescribes Ambrox paediatric drops for 7 days. Is it safe for her tk now take the drops as she was on antibiotics just a week ago!
