What is a pill inscribed zpl 10? ## I found a pill in my sons room. It's round and beige/peachish color. It says ZPL on one side and 10 on the other. Does anyone know what this pill is? ## Jill did you ever find out what this pill was because I found the same pill and I don't know what it is? ## I found a bag of these pills in my friend's car and we don't know what they could be... ## Its a 10 mg ambien... a narcotic based sleep aid. I'm sure you've seen comercials ## Ambien is NOT narcotic based. It is a nonbenzodiazapine, which shares no chemical relation to narcotics. ## The pill is not zpl 10. It is zlp 10. It is a generic of Ambien: a sleep aid. It is classified under sedative/hypnotic. The FDA has classified it as a class IV drug. Which means it can be dang...

Zolvest comes in a blister pack of 10. They are generic for Ambien. They work better than any other Zolpidem generic I tried. Has anyone tried this medication and if so do you know who the manufacturer is? Also, how did it affect you? Lastly, I was sent this other garbage called Zolfresh and it works nothing like the Zolpidem I've taken for years. The only thing close is Zolvest. I am so PO'ed. I was promised that this Zolfresh was a good brand and was just like the other, but the only thing it does is make me feel like I've taken NyQuil in heavy doses that make me feel heavy and lethargic but don't put me under. I will run out tomorrow, so now I'm in trouble and will be withdrawing for however long it takes. So now I'm up without a paddle. This really sucks! Has...

Hi, anyone tried expired ambien or a drug similar to zolpidem (z-drug), especially if it's been years since it's expiration date, and what was the effect? Is it still as good as it used to be? I have seen studies showing that some drugs practically never expire. One study found 50 year old barbiturates that still had over 100% potency left! Another study looked at ambien for NASA space station, it found that 2 year expired ambien still had about 101% of potency left. If it's true that ambien is similar to barbiturates in this regard, in theory, it should still be near 100% potent even 50 years past it's manufacturing date provided it's stored in optimal conditions. But I would like to hear your experiences about it. ## I have a script that is 3 years old and as I sto...

Hi friends. I’m prescribed 10mg of Ambien nightly. While in Mexico I decided to fill my prescription as not to have to rely on my Dr so much and to have extras when needed. For instance when I forget to get my US script filled in time or run out of refills and still need my Ambien to sleep. I got them at Farmacia Guadalajara in PV. The packages were closed and sealed. They are Stilnox 10mg. They’re white, oblong, and are imprinted with Stilnox on one side and scored once to break in half on the other side. They were pricey. $150 or so for 30 pills. They had us show identification, etc. I just need to know if these are a good brand? My main question is, if anyone else has taken Stilnox 10mg from Mexico, are my markings correct? Help! I don't want to take them if they coul...

I have been taking ambien for many years now. Recently I filled a 3 month supply from what I've now discovered is a less than reputable pharmacy, but as I have no insurance, the cost was less than what I've been paying. My question is this....when i take ambein, I wake up feeling great...no medicine hangover so to speak. Since I've been taking the Stilnox, I feel like I've been drugged with valium or something for the entire day. I've googled these pills, and everything says they are the same thing, but the sure don't affect me the same. One other note, on the bottle I got, it said they were manufactured in 2007. Could it be that they are too old to take? ## Stilnox is listed as containing the active ingredient Zolpidem, which is the same as the active ingredient...

I was on serequel and stoped. it also caused weight. what drugs help to sleep but gain weight? ## Hello, Bunnt! How are you? You may want to speak to your doctor about trying one of the regular sleep inducing medications, such as Ambien. The FDA classifies it as a sedative hypnotic that's used for the short-term treatment of insomnia. Its typical side effects may possibly include dizziness, dry mouth, hallucinations, sleep actions and next day hangover-like effects. Does anyone else have any ideas? ## tizanidine helps with pain and helps me get a couple hrs of sleep too. see if you can try that. i love it!

I've been researching for 2 hours. The alleged manufacturer in India doesn't even make this product. And what they're putting in the pills will make you sick. ## @Jd, If you received these from an unlicensed pharmacy then in my opinion it's more than likely a scam product. I notice that some of the internet pharmacies based over in India make up random brand names for otherwise popular medications to maybe throw people off. Zolfed for example sounds like a knock-off name of Zoloft or Zolpidem. Unfortunately with false marketing at hand, there's no way to know for sure what these tablets contain unless you were to have the tablet analyzed by a lab. What was the name of the company you went through? And did you file a complaint with your credit/debit card institution? ...

need help identifying small round yellowish pill imprinted with A1 and nothing else....Please help ## I believe it is the generic for Ambien CR 12.5 mg. It is a sleeping pill (sedative/hypnotic). It is used to treat insomnia. It is not addictive, but if you take this medication for a long period of time your body will depend on it for sleep. I hope that helps. ## The pill that I've found which meets this description, off-white and round contains 1mg of Guanfacine, the active ingredient in Tenex, it has several medical uses, including treating high blood pressure. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea. ambien,10mgs,peach colored, no visible markingsraids ## peach colored, no markings, supposed to be ambien 10mgs ## If there are no markings, then it is not a legal U.S. version of Ambien and there is no way to know, with any certainty, what you have, unless you would pay to have it lab tested. Where was this obtained? ## My Ambien (zolpidem tartrate) 5 mg. is reddish, with a logo on one side and 5 mg on the other side. Made or sold by Torrent Pharmacy. Works OK but lasts about 3 hours. Been on it 2 years; no side effects. I am 88.

I thought this was manufactured by Aurobindo? So why does my bottle say its manufacturer is North Star? Is there something fishy going on that I don't know about? I will return to the pharmacy tomorrow to see if I got some bunk meds. None of this makes sense. ## Hello, Schooter69! How are you? It is manufactured by Aurobindo, but Northstar is a licensed distributor for them. NDC code: 16714-0621 or 65862-0159 If you click on those NDC codes, you'll see that the first is listed under Northstar, and the other is listed under Aurobindo, but they both list the same tablet. Some pharmacies list the distributor that it was purchased through, and some list the original manufacturer, it depends on their policies. However, it is the markings on the tablet that matter, since they let you ...

I've had insomnia for 13 years. Very sleep depraved and extreme fatigue/depression. I sometimes take 5mg of generic ambien BUT I experience HORRID NIGHTMARES! Very realistic and life threatening situations of myself and/or one of my pets! It is a terrible feeling but I do get 6+hours of sleep. Wish there was something without the side effect of nightmares (always occurring in the early morning hours). ## Hello, Cameo! How are you? What else have you tried for your insomnia? After having similar problems with most such medications, including daytime hangover like effects, I actually finally found a solution by taking Benadryl with a Tylenol tablet at night, though there are generic/store brands available, plus combination products that contain both. You'd need to get your doctor...

Duane Reade filled ambien and xanax with my insuranse then called two days later to tell me to pick up my ambien script. They filled same rx# twice and went through insurance. How could this happen? I picked it up since why not? Will they discover and could it be a problem? ## Dear Blondie, Sorry to hear about your situation. All pharmacies should maintain a record of the prescriptions they fill, so if you only received twice the amount of 1 Rx and not the other, I would encourage you to go back and inform them of the mistake they made. Also have them contact the insurance company to make sure they're on the same page with what happened. And please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that things like this could potentially catch up to you in the form of withdrawals if you...

I am in drug court cause I had addiction to lortab. I get drug tested about 2-3 times a week. They are really strick on what we can take, I mean we can't even take advil. I have really bad insomnia and have a prescription of ambien. So my question is will ambien show up in a urine screen??? ## What type of test are they doing? Neither the Zolpidem in Ambien, nor the Ibuprofen in Advil are substances that are normally tested for on these urine tests. In addition, they cannot deny you the use of a legally prescribed medication. You should just inform them of this, though they can ask for proof from your doctor, if they wish. Ambien can cause side effects, that you should be aware of, such as: nausea, short-term memory loss, hallucinations and delusions. ## thank for ur advice, and I g...

My dr proscribed Ambien and it just didn’t work. I would take 3 or 4 pills over the course of a night/day. Now I am out and it takes me 6 hours to fall asleep. My question is this. If I pay cash can I get an Rx for Valium before my 30 days is up? The medication is not working and I’m getting about 2 hours a sleep a night. Two nights I stayed up all night and throughout the next day. Is this lack of sleep bad for my health? ## The Zolpidem in Ambien is a sedative hypnotic, though it is related to Benzodiazepines, they are different and are used to treat different conditions. You should be able to get a Valium prescription, before the 30 days is up, but that policy can vary depending on your insurance plan, and your doctor's policy. Have you tried checking with your doctor...

I was wondering if anyone else out there. Is having a hard time getting Ambien filled from the insurance company. Latest news on Ambien is that you can get only 90 pills per year. A problem for those with insomnia. I have now been with out for 6 days and withdrawal symptoms are kicking in. My refill is still pending. Just and FYI to let you all know with this tier 2 drug that the 90 days is for a year, Good luck to all those living with insomnia=Gayle Parker ## Hello Gayle, There is no FDA limitation and this is strictly based upon your insurance plan, so the better and more costly the insurance plan the better your ability to get the drugs you need. There are a few reasons that the insurance companies are cracking down on ambien pills. The most prevalent is that it costs money and the ...

Cyclobenzapr (5 mg) was just prescribed for me at bedtime for 5 days. Should I continue taking ambien (10 mg) while taking this? ## Hello, Bush! How are you? What instructions did your doctor provide? It may be best to double check. While there aren't any actual dangerous interactions listed between these two medications, they can both increase sedation, which may be too much for some people, depending on their overall health. The FDA classifies Cyclobenzaprine as a muscle relaxant and lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and dry mouth. ## Why can't I control my need to urinate while taking this medicine? I feel like I have to go all the time. ## My head is hurting so bad and my mouth is very dry ## Hi, I hear your plight, but taking b...

Found tiny (like gravol but a bit smaller and noticeably thinner) white pill with a star imprint but looks to have tiny circle within the star. Think 4 sided throwing ninja star type lol with tiny circle within. (Not 5 pointed ? but morning star just 4 points) On rear is a line. Found next to round orange centaur pill. I dont know how many mgs the centaur pill is. Which someone else said is like ambien (Xanax). Im not 100% sure. Would appreciate to know the name of each and mg. Please and thanks very much. ## RE: "someone else said is like ambien (Xanax)" First off, I just have to inform you that Ambien and Xanax are NOT the same drug; so whoever told you this pill is Ambien (Xanax) may intentionally be misleading you and I stay as far away from this person as possible. - Ambien...

I need to pass a urine test that is looking for abuse. I have back injury, PTSD resutiling from severe burns. These conditions are work related. I'm now in the position that I'm considered to be abusing these meds., which at times I take more than the dose perscribed just to get relief. My injuries are all work related. I have no where to turn. I've had PTSD since 7/11/11 and am on Valium, Hydrocodone, Butbital, Oxycodone and Ambien. I'm not permitted to take pain meds during work, so I take daily doses after work. The PTSD is so bad from burns that I get night terrors , severe migraines and amon edge , so I take Valium for anxiety. I'm on IVIG treatment once a month for JOBS syndrome, this makes my migraines worse, but I have not been hospitalized for MERSA of other...
