Alprazalam Light Green S902?

I to just got the oval shaped green football shaped Xanax and I immediately felt something wasn't right. It seems to me that I still felt a lot of anxiety after taking one and that's highly unusual. I've been taking benzos for 20 years and always can take one and my anxiety goes away within 15 minutes or less. They also hasn't ever made me sleepy however these green with s 903 seems to just make me sleepy. Just seems like a totally different medication than the Xanax I've always taken. Does anyone have any facts about this? Thanks.

The only Alprazolam that I ever complained about and this was 20 years ago and I'm not sure who manufactured it was the light green footballs. At this point I have so many different kinds and just accept that each pill can vary plus or minus 20 percent. I find it interesting that the football shaped pill can be any medicine, my Lisinopril now comes in a brown football, you would think they could pick another shape?

Eddy, there are a limited number of shapes that they can press a pill into, so only the imprints are required to be different from one manufacturer to the next.

Kelsey, the FDA does warn that drowsiness can be a common side effect of Xanax, along with nausea, dizziness, headache, and mood changes. Xanax also carries the risk of being habit forming.

You mentioned two different doses, the tablet with the S 902 marking contains 1mg of Alprazolam, and the one with the S 903 marking contains 2mgs.

It's hard to say what caused your issues, because our bodies do change with time, so it is possible to experience new side effects even if you've been taking the same medication for years.

To the O/P, I would think going from the 1 mg dose to the 2 mg dose certainly can cause one to be more sleepy. I went through a slight period of time getting Bars including the S 903 & those round 2 mg pills, but 1 mg has been my Xanax of choice. I always split the bars when I had them into 3
