Allergys To Meds

Updated

Is there anyone out there that has allergic reactions to most pain meds? I can't take morphine, codene, nsaids, antibioctics, vitimins, sulfa, neurontin & prednisone.I have been on fentenal patches, & vicodin which does nothing for my pain. Now that vicodin is off the market they gave me the substitute norco 7.5 350mg. They suck. I know everything acetimin has been cut to 325mg but do these law makers realize we are just going to have to take more pills to get out of any pain? Next time I go to the dr. they will need me to be on the 10's.I don't think there are to many people like me, but in case there is does anyone know of some other pain med thats available? I just tried lyrica and thought it would kill me. I have MS, a bone disease that is life long and no cure, cancer, and severe back and neck problems. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Hi Holly,

Sorry to hear about your situation with those medications. Have you considered trying anything natural that may not be so harsh on your system? If not, I would research & talk to your doctor about using Kava Root as an adjunct therapy to Norco. Apparently Kava Root is commonly used in replacement of aspirin, acetaminophen and ibuprofen (but is also mildly narcotic and euphoric); so it may offer some additional relief where Norco falls short.

More details on Kava Root can be found here:

I would also encourage you to do research on curing that cancer. It has been proven by numerous studies and testimonies that cancer can and has been cured with an alkaline/raw vegan diet (primarily fresh fruits and vegetables eaten or juiced). It's certainly a big lifestyle change if you're used to eating differently, but cancer should be one less thing you have to worry about! Go on youtube and watch some of the testimonies. Or go on google and see the research for yourself. I think everyone needs to become more aware that they don't have to live with cancer if they don't want to. When one commits to making healthy choices, health is often the result. :)
