i had an injection in both knees on Thursday, by Friday i was breaking out in hives on the legs and arms several times a day. It has continued thru Monday but only 3 incidences on Monday, involving arms, legs and torso. Not much help from doctor's office of Anika, the manufacturer and distributor of product

It is always possible to be allergic to any medication, regardless of how it is administered, or if it's over the counter, or given by prescription.

How are you doing, now? Did you stop using it? Are you on any other medications?

The FDA lists other side effects as possibly including administration site reactions, redness, skin flaking, and dryness.
