The price of Alinia (nitazoxanide) is more than I can pay. I have taken many rounds of drugs for h-pylori that I've had for over 4 years. Please help!

Alinia is an antiparasitic medication that is used to treat various parasitic infestations that cause diarrhea, as deemed appropriate by your doctor.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and stomach pain.

Ann, why has this been prescribed for H. Pylori?

Have they made sure that it is still present?
