I'm prescribed adipex as a diet pill and have been out and not made it up to get a new prescription. Was given adderall on Saturday by a friend who said it had the same effects as adipex. Got a random urine test at work Monday morning (only a day and a half after taking) and it was sent to a lab. Does adderall show up the same as adipex since I have a prescription for the adipex? ## Did you ever get an answer for this? I'm wondering the same thing ## I just went through this exact situation and it does get sent to the lab and shows adderall.

I went to get a presciption from my general doctors office, and they said I would need to take a complete phisical and drug test. I have been taking adipex for about 5 months now and I get a urinalysis test every month for my pain management dr. I do suffer from ADHD and I'm currently waiting to be put back on on adderall. I have started taking an old prescription of adderall and not the adipex. I have a test coming up in a few days and I'm wondering if my test will show up the same as if I'm taking the adipex? I was prescribed adipex for weight loss by my doctor, and stopped taking it about a month ago. I was taking about 15mg per day, skipping days here and there as I weened off. Will it still show up as an amphetamine? I realize I can show them my perscription, but my doctor dispensed the medication to me from his office, so I don't have a "prescription bottle" with a normal label to show like from CVS. Will any doctors prescribe the adipex longer than 3 months time in Michigan? I have read that in some states doctors will only prescribe for 90 days and then just cut you off. Is this true for Michigan or is it more related to the particular doctor who is prescribing the medication? Thank you kindly for any feedback!!

I was wondering if anyone knows how long Adipex takes for the body to metabolize? ## Anywhere from 35 to 120 hours. I didn't find any problems or interactions listed between these two medications, but Adipex is contraindicated in most blood pressure patients, due to the fact that it is a stimulant that can elevate heart rate and blood pressure, as listed by the FDA. I have a oblong white pill with blue specks, on one side it doesn't have anything on it, on the other side it has 3 things.. a capital U, then its either a 4 or it looks like a L with a slash, then either a 0 (zero) or capital O. I've tried searching everything!!! I've seen a lot of Adipex that are white with blue specks, but I've never seen one like this & cant find it anywhere on the web! Adipex Info Click Here ## I take adepeix phentermine 37.5, methadone, Prozac, Xanax, ambien, lytherdine, Prilosec, and Abilfily. Any way they say I failed a drug panel for methamphetamine and I don't do methamphetamine. So they sent it to the lab the next day. I took one and it didn't come up for methamphetamine. I don't understand unless bad stick or my medicine mixed together mixes up the diagnostics.

If it's causing that much of a weight gain, you may be better off switching off of this, because regardless of what else you take to lose it, it's really not going to help much, as long as the root cause is still there. Have you consulted your doctor? You may do better with a medication that isn't known to cause as much weight gain. The FDA lists the other typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, stomach pain and hypotension.

Hi. I started Adipex under my doctor on February 18 at 180lbs. I'm 5'4". . March 18's weigh-in, I was 173.8. Last month weigh-in I was 170.1. This was my 3rd weigh-in today (I was supposed to go in on Friday last week but the Dr had an emergency) so I was told to come in today. I knew I was going to be starting my period, but reluctantly I still went. 2 days ago my weight was 168.8!. Today, however, after starting my period last night, I weighed in at 173.0. :( Because I had gained 3lbs,despite being on my cycle, the Dr told me to come back on Friday to lose the water and be off my cycle so the weight is accurate. But now I have no adipex, and am afraid the weight won't change he without it. I need to be 169 on Friday in order to get the last 30 day dose of my prescr...

My friend just administered five 30 mg adipex....first they did one and didn't feel it...then another, then another, still not what they thought it'd be...so they took 2 at one time and shortly after was ready for bed....then they had 2 more because they thought it didn't give the desired results....very rapid heart beat...sweating....trouble getting a deep breath.....vomiting...hurt all over... I have been taking adipex. The last time I took any was 10 days ago. I have a urine drug test tomorrow morning so I went a got a at home test kit tonight just to be sure they were out of my system. A very very faint line showed up. Very faint. Do you think I'll be ok & why are they hanging around in my urine for so long?!?!
