Best Generic Adderall Brands (Page 30)

Is the round pink 30 mg Adderall generic name Sandoz/Eon with the markings of CDR 136 on one side more or less effective than the oval orange 30 mg Adderall generic name Barr/Teva with the markings of b974 on one side and 30 on the other side? What is the most effective/potent Adderall that is generic and 30 mg?

Sandoz is great choice and on the market currently... Find a pharmacy who will order u it. I just picked up 60 CT. 30 MG ir and xr sandoz Adderall generics yesterday... Good luck May the force be with you.... Always

I was given Sandoz IR 30mg from Kroger Pharm. this month b/c none of my others (CVSx3, another Kro.) had ANY generic in stock and I think it SUCKS! Auro. was HORRIBLE so I had been getting Core (specially ordered) and it was just OK...WTF is the deal?? It seems like the ingredient lists all start with Dex now instead of the Amph. Salt combo and I think that is making a HUGE difference!!! Thoughts?? BTW...Ive been taking 30 mg IR 2/day for over 10 yrs., but that is along with SEVERAL thyroid meds and 300mg of Effexor XR (gen)...I should be able to SAVE TO WHOLE FREAKING PLANET, right!??? ;(

My Shopko pharmacy in Wisconsin filled my script yesterday with sandoz 30 mg (orange) last month it was Teva orange footall shape I am so sick of getting different ones every month! At least the last 5 months have been for sure! I dont even remember what one actually works!

I know sandoz and they are not pink. I only get the sandoz 30mg IR (instant release) tablets and the back says 404. That's very interesting you should mention sandoz/eon labs with a completely different tablet. Are you sure that is 100% accurate? I know in the past one pharmacy gave me pink ones and the bottle said that Teva was the manufacturer. I thought they were awful. Whichever binders and fillers they use caused really bad headaches. I learned to look before I leap when picking up a script and leaving assuming I have the correct medication.

This list is only my opinion of what I think the rankings of each generic mfr are for me:

1. Sandoz - most potent works and least side effects
2. The oval football shaped ones made by Barr
3. Actavis
4. Teva and
5. Mallinckrodt (ew ew ew so fake and dissolves like aspirin)

I totally agree. Sandoz works the best and call me crazy but they are the only real Adderall to me. I started off getting this brand and when they switched to barr my mom and I ended up needing to increase the dosage from 20mg to 30mg. Then when I went back to sandoz and got the 30 I found 30mg to be a bit too much so I cut a quarter of them out and that works better.

Teva is awful in my opinion. Corepharma has always been my go to. I hope it does come back. Sandoz to me is the next best thing I tried those my last script. This time they claimed they were out so I got stuck with Mylan for the first time. It's only been two days taking it. It's ok I guess. Still undecided. It was either this or the Teva brand and there was no way I was getting that one!!

Where in SoCal from Santa Barbara anywhere down to the LA area can one find Adderall IR that is neither the Aurobindo or Teva generic? Both of these generics make me incredibly drowsy. I liked Core but they are no longer being produced. I'm willing to try anything else. Anyone who gets sleepy on Auro/Teva have any preference? In any event, I need to find a pharmacy in my area that offers something other than these two IRs which, for me (I'm ADHD Combined) might as well be sleeping pills. Thank you!

I am totally in agreement with ALL the complaints regarding Adderall XR 30 mg. The only one that works is the one with orange & white beads, but Walgreen's stopped carrying that and when I questioned them why, of course they played dumb. Then I bought 10 of Shire's brand Adderall XR 30 mg., and they too were practically ineffective. What to do? I don't know... Call every pharmacy in the universe to see if they carry the orange & white version. I tried Mydayis, but it is tame by comparison. NTL, it is good for focused writing and getting boring chores done. Also, it does not have the "crash" that XR has. Good luck, ADHD soulmates, & I'll report back if I find something decent...

I’m in Pittsburgh and just filled my script yesterday. The one Cvs I went to was completely out and then I tried rite aid, only had 30 pills left. It ended up being Teva again. I’m sick of having to take more than one pill to feel anything.

TRY MYLAN IR AT SAM'S CLUB.

Been suffering for almost a year with horrible Teva Adderall. Felt druggy. Depression, exhausted, everything bleak. It was just not like how it used to be made. And I recently developed a weird reaction with an inflamed mouth, sores, throat issues...I was sick for the last two months, doctors couldn't figure it out, but it would all go away a day after I stopped taking the Adderall. I did it three times as an experiment to confirm it was the Adderall. Yup! (ANYONE ELSE HAVE SOMETHING SIMILAR? VERY CURIOUS!)

Signed up on this forum just now to let you guys know I did the usual BS, calling all around my area (Denver) to see if by chance anyone is carrying Sandoz, Core, Sun, etc. Something other than Teva, Aurobindo, and Mallincrap.

Turns out, Sam's Club had Mylan. 30mg. I hadn't read much about Mylan before, as an Adderall IR generic, but I got excited and told them I will have my doctor send them a script. Hadn't ever been to Sam's Club, but you don't need a membership to use the pharmacy.

Well: it's working. My depression feels at bay. I'm not drugged out, nor lethargic, nor speedy. Just focused and doing my thing. Like how I remember it used to be when I took Sandoz. I woke up feeling GOOD. I haven't felt that in months. It feels nearly identical to how I remember Sandoz, almost three years ago, confirming to me that it has all been crap, crap, crap for the last year or two. Confirming that it's not just in my head, that it's not all about me hitting tolerance or coming up with some rationale. It's a revolting industry that has control of the people and they can do anything they want. It all comes down to money.

I have found that taking Teva has been better than taking nothing, but barely. It's like settling in a relationship, versus actually feeling alive and inspired. Teva is so hit-or-miss, but I'm sure y'all know this and feel the same. I used to be a skeptic but I've tested enough and observed enough to know that all of this is very real, and very sad, and very unfortunate, and it's just not stopping. Which is insane based on how many thousands of us have complained to the FDA. They're all in on it. Money. It's easy to ignore how bad it is until you yourself are suffering. Then you see the sad, bleak reality.

Anyway, Mylan! Sam's Club!

Yep, same here. Never had Mylan but was soooo tired of Teva and that Aurobindo....

Filled script today. My old pharmacy just happened to get a fresh batch in. So I went for it. Took morning and afternoon 30 mg. Seemed a little speedy at first but not overly potent but seemed OK- and didn't taste like coffee sweetener!!!

Give me a week and I'll report back..

My chances and try them but my pharmacy got Teva in so I just settled for them instead. The lady on the phone said it was a “new shipment” so I will report back soon. Assuming they’re just opening them today I supposed I’ll get a first hand look at the current recipe. If it’s trash my doctor was nice enough to write me a second script for the brand or another generic if I really can’t stomach what I get.

I would not trust anyone associated with Aurobindo/Aurolife where cheap, poor quality generics are made in India.
