Actavis A 214 Efficacy

Whatever these pills are, they are hands down the worst... They have zero effect on my cancer pain zilch.. Then I run into a online actavis recall of oxycodone. What the hell is going on? I was taking kvk tech K8 and wow the pain was long gone within 20-30 min and lasted a lot longer. However, here in Florida they are no where to be found. I need help. The docs that prescribe can't do anything. Walgreens are pretty much like hey that's all your getting. I hate even picking the damn things up period, it's like a sleeping pill? Does anyone have any insight please?? I'm hoping and praying I can go to ERs. I was getting 120 now cut back to 90 and let me tell you they just do not work. Like I said I take still have pain, I feel dopey, eyes close, off to bed I go. Anyone else having the same issues? I'm a cancer patient and sooner or later my life will end. And if this is all I get before that God help me and those who are taking this sleeping pill. It does not work. Anyone out here that can offer any help or suggestion I would appreciate it with all my heart. Something has got to change for these pills flat out for me do not touch the pain and dope me out. Horrible, it's not fair. Why take the medication that worked for me perfectly away? Why why why???

You could try asking your doctor to prescribe it as 'brand medically necessary', or whatever the equivalent is in your state, then the pharmacy can no longer give you the generic, so you'd be assured of receiving a consistent medication that works for you.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Another idea would be to ask your doctor about trying a different medication.

Does anyone else have any ideas or suggestions that may help?

Thank you my friend, I will try that. I'm in fla they are very strict and well I agree with that. There is huge issue of fakers, pill heads and those that sell. It's not right and we pay for it. I just may go with ERs and maybe ask for a 10mg break though.
It just baffles me, same drugs different manufacture and what a huge difference. I mean you could not tell I was on anything with those kvk tech K8 as I felt so normal it was scary. Then with the A214 I'm high as a bat and nodding and I do not like that at all and barley any relief, more like a strong sleeping pill. Once again I really thank you for taking the time to respond.
