Actavis

I have been dispensed dihydrocodiene. The manufacturer is Actavis. The pill is about 5mm round in size and shape, white in color, and is imprinted on one side with the letters C,D,H. The letter 'C' appears at the top and letters "DH" appear as a "second line" imprint below the "C". I'm trying to discern that the medication has not be switched or substituded as it was purchased from a pharmacy that gossip about says substitutions happen. Is this medication what it says it is?

I work for the manufacturer & the tablets certainly is the right size & has the right markings on it.
It would be impossible to advise on its authenticity on a forum though.
If you are doubt about receiving fake tablets, contact the MHRA, the pharmaceutical regulatory body.

Where were they found/obtained?

As Mac stated, they are listed as being Dihydrocodeine, a narcotic, but it is always possible for someone to mimic a real medication.

If you ordered from an overseas pharmacy, without a prescription, then there may be no way of knowing, for sure, what it was the you've received.

Some of them are very reliable and do ship exactly what is ordered, but some are scams and will send everyone the same pills, regardless of what they've ordered. We have quite a few posts like that on here.
