I am suffering from spinal stenosis in the 3rd, 4th & 5th lumber vertebrae. When I take Aceclofenac tab 100 mg I feel quite comfortable. I take one tab only when lumber pain is unbearable because i am afraid of possible side effects. Please advise me if i can take it regularly, at least 1 daily? How long one can take it and at what dose?

What has your doctor advised? The dosage depends on the severity of the condition being treated, as does the length of time you should take it.

Aceclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and long-term regular use can cause some serious side effects on the body, such as stomach problems, like ulcers or gastritis, as well as damage to the liver and kidneys. They have also been known to cause high blood pressure and congestive heart failure in some people, but as I stated, this would be with long-term usage, not short-term.

I had pain in fee while walking and immediately after getting out of bed. I was prescribed tabs of Aceclofenac, serratiopeptidase and paracetamol tabs.I had lot of relief from pain. But when stopped after taking for 10 days th pains reuccured. I was asked to continue only Aceclofenac 200 mg in single dosage for next 10 days. I have been told that if no relief found even after stopping after 10 days, I will be given injection which may give relief for next 10 days or even upto 1 year. If the problem reuccurs, an operation to be done at the place of pain in foot. I want to know whether I have arthrites. I am 56 and my BMI is 34. I am doing yoga and 5 kms walking for the past one month. Whether I can continue. Whether my problem is only on account of over weight? I also take daily Thyroxine Sodium Tabs 75 mcg daily (My TSH when last tested 50 days back was o.o1, T3 137.40 and T4 9.80) I am also taking Atorvastatin 10 mg daily (Cholestrol 188, LDL 118, HDL 39). Whether I need to continue drugs life long? Whether I can come out of problem by reducing weight through physical exercises? Pl advise
