How long does this stay in your body after you stop it?
Hello,
According to the FDA and NIH ramipril has a half life cycle of 3-16 hours and since it takes normally 4 to 6 half lifes for the drug to completely leave your body you are looking at between 12-96 hours, which a huge gap.
Out of curiosity why do you need to know? Most people ask this question to determine when the earliest they can take a different medication is. If that's the reason for your question I would suggest waiting the maximum estimated half life of 96 hours before you take the conflicting medication just to be safe.
Hope this answers your question.
