Androgel 1.62% Is Working Great

Updated

I have been on 2 pumps or 40.5mg of ANDROGEL for 33 days and I feel much better physically and mentally. I was tested about 2 years ago and had a T level at around 280, which is low for a 44yr old straight male. I was also on a large dose of opiates (8 yrs.) which most likely caused my drop in T- production over the years. I played a high level of ice hockey and broke my T4-T7 vertebrae and had to take opioids due to the pain.

I am happy to say that I am now 5 Months sober and have been in physical therapy and I feel like I’m 25 again. My libido is back to levels where I am in awe! Not trying to be funny but it’s true. Also, sticking to a gluten-free diet and moderate exercise will help get your blood panels close to perfect. I am 6 ft. 178lbs, and was close to 195lbs. 2 Months ago. I haven’t returned to my doctor to re-check my T levels but when I do I will update my thread.

My husband has been on all kinds of treatments for low T levels fir over 30 years, this is nothing to mess around with and not being treated for. He has been on injections for years but had a stroke and found out his red blood count was super high, he had to have a phlebotomy . Also something else that doctors don’t tell you that is a another side effect from these medications are men can lose a lot of hair or go bald from this medication . So please anyone that uses these much needed medicines have a doctor watch you very carefully for the side effects. Men need these medications it will effect the pituitary gland and can make you very tired and sleep all the time with fatigue and very stubbornness.

Very true that there are some side effects to any prescribed medication including ANDROGEL. If, anyone is taking Testosterone it is very important to eat right and exercise! This is not some magic potion that gets you fit and healthy by injecting it or putting it on transdermally. I am not a Dr. but took time to read up on ANDROGEL about the side effects and what to expect as time elapses. Yes, you can lose hair and red blood cell count increases as you take T. Personally, I need to increase my T levels due to the lack of energy, concentration and injury. I agree that you need to way out the risks-rewards and see a Dr and monitor your T levels every 2-3 Months, if not more. I know you are speaking for your husband but can I ask you how long he has been on T and if he has had health problems in the past? Also, age, lbs. etc.. would help I out this thread..! Good Luck!
