How can I be allergic to AMOX TR-K CLV but not to Amoxicillin?

I am itching so badly it hurts, I've taken Amox TR-K CLV. The itching is terrible and my skin feels really hot. I don't know if should seek medical attention. Please help me

definately seek medical attention - sounds like an allergic reaction - take benadryl if you have it...

My wife took AMOX TR-K CLVk for ingrown hair infection and she is itching really bad.

If the medication is making you itchy, it may be an allergic reaction and you should consult a doctor, or seek medical attention. Most antibiotics can cause a non-allergic skin rash, as a side effect, but in that case, it just that, a rash that usually has no other symptoms.


And Susan, you may be allergic to the additional ingredient, which is Clavulanic Acid.
