Adderall manufactured by Teva not working

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA? ## You'd have to report any complaints to the FDA, at 888-INFO-FDA. However, there may not actually be anything to report. They do allow generic medications to differ from the name brands, in the amount of the active ingredient, by up to plus or minus 20%. This is considered an acceptable therapeutic window. For most people, these differences don't cause any problems, but if someone is sensitive to medications, it means that one with a slightly ...

I drug test today (URINE) for perenatal program relapsed last night.,,,have been doing good for awhile. Please explain step by step using the baking soda method to me. Do i drink cranberry juice too or just stick with baking soda and water? Do i have to only chase the baking soda down with water or i can drink soda too while getting it down then drink tons of water?? ## Ok. Very simple. Here's how ya do the baking soda method. You wanna pass a piss quiz??? Ok. You wake up in the morning, tell yourself your not gona use. Do this for several weeks and when you need to take a urine test your NOT GONA FAIL!!! Also, cranberry is very good for your renal system and baking soda is great for chocolate chip cookies! ## If I was clean and then took 4 doses of methamphetamine at 3 o'clock ...

has anyone taken generic addreall from aurobindo pharmaceuticals

I was scouting around for generic adderall from CorePharma , when i called Meijer pharmacy they said they carry Aurobindo. I've never heard of this pharm company before. Anybody taken adderall from Aurobindo? I alternate generic adderall from teva then corepharma. But since Dominick's grocery/pharmacy who carries it is now closed, I am having a hard time locating a pharmacy carrying Corepharma adderall. Any experiences from Aurobindo? I'd appreciate it. ## I just got a prescription filled yesterday and it's aurobindo pharm too. My last prescription was Teva and it worked just ok. But for the past week I have been having sharp stomach pains. (In the center above belly button) I just started taking it about 2 weeks ago (10-15mg/day) so I can't help but think the stomac...

Lannett pharmaceuticals vs teva brand adderall

Today I picked up my 20mg x 2 daily adderall IR Instead of my usual adderall made by teva brand i was given a new type that I have never had before..it's supposedly a newer generic version from Lannett pharmaceuticals. It looks just like teva accept it's a lighter shade of peach color and it doesn't have that sweet flavor. It's more chalky like..its early evening and I decided to try one two hours have gone by and still nothing. Humm my question is has anyone else had the opportunity to try these newer version of adderall 20mg from Lannett pharmaceuticals?. I will come back in a hour or so and give an update..oh i read a different blogpost and have read that some actually liked it better than teva brand but wished for the sweet taste but they claimed to like it so let...

Converting Adderall IR Dosage to Dexedrine IR

I currently take Adderall IR 20MG twice daily. My question is this: How many MG of Dexedrine IR would be equal to Adderall IR 20MG? How do you convert Adderall IR 20MG to Dexedrine IR 20MG? ## Hello, James! How are you? Usually, these medications are considered equivalent in dosages, so a 20mg dose of one would require a 20mg dose of the other to be therapeutically equivalent. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, weight loss, irritability, and other mood changes. What dosage your doctor recommend?

Adderall 30mg Generic Which Is Better The Orange Oval Or The Pink Round

Is there a difference in the potency of the generic oval orange 30mg and the generic round pink 30 mg? ## Hi Wendy, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. However I do want to mention that certain "inactive" ingredients (which may or may not be present in each brand) are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. So it's possible that you may respond favorably with one medication and not the other (even if they are the same drug and same dosage). I hope this info helps! Have you had a chance to take either of them yet? ## I have taken both the oval orange and the round pink 30mg generic adderall's. I prefer the pink ones but i"m having a...

TEVA 30mg vs AUROBINDO PHARM Amphetamine Salts (Adderall)

For several years I've taken TEVA 30mg Amphetamine Salts 2x daily with consistent positive relief. Focus and a feeling that I could have a productive day gave me a reason to get out of bed. On 8/21/2014 all that changed to nervous anxiety filled days staying home. What caused the dramatic change quickly became clear. The generic Adderall produced by AUROBINO PHARM which my regular CVS Pharmacy filled my RX with on 8/21 was less than effective it was exasperating the very symptoms for which it was prescribed. FDA is an ineffective bureaucracy controlled by lobbyists for foreign and domestic pharmaceutical companies making huge profits in generic drugs at the expense of the health and quality of life of others. The manufacturing of inferior or possibly harmful medications by greedy co...

I cannot find one Dr. to give me an Adderall prescription

I was taking 5 20mg generic Adderall for almost 10 yrs and then my Dr. retired. Do I have to go to a Psychiatrist for it? I have tried a couple of them, the same answer, no. I'm not asking for 5 a day, even 3 would be nice. I do not have heart trouble, never have had high blood pressure, etc. I took it for ADD and depression. This is in the Rockford, IL area. ## Ha I live about 10 miles away from Rockford illinois, or crackford. You have to have your primary care physician refer you to a psychiatrist . So you will have another dr saying it’s ok to prescribe you. Due to your lack of focus and motivation:... try it ## Usually if they can see you used to have it prescribed they’re more likely to do it. I think these days only psychiatrists will do it. ## My primary care doc...

doctors who prescribe adderall in michigan

My son is 22 and has adhd but we can't find a doctor to give him adderall. ## Hello, Jayne! How are you? Adderall is a controlled substance that has addictive potential, so if you're contacting doctors and asking them to prescribe it, they are going view that as being drug seeking behavior and refuse. What he really needs to do is set up an appointment with a doctor to discuss his issues, get a proper diagnosis and see what they offer as his treatment options. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Hi Jayne, I don't know if you found a Dr to give it to your son yet but my Dr will write them but I DON'T want to put that info out here. {edited for privacy} ## {edited for privacy} ## {edited for privacy} ## Hi Tony, my dr decided to stop my adderall & klonopan when ...

k 66 pink round pill

Is this Dextroamphetamine? It doesn't seem to work like the one I was on before. I have taken this medication for years. I don't know if it's just the manufacturer? ## Yes, this tablet is manufactured by KVK Tech and they list it as containing 10mgs of Dextroamphetamine. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nervousness, nausea, insomnia, headache, and anorexia. If you've been taking it for a long time, your body may have built up a tolerance to it, which means you may need to have your dosage adjusted, or you might need to try a different medication. How many years have you been taking it? ## I've taken dexedrine or dextroamphetamine sulfate for a long time. It's quite an effective drug, in...

Adderall Generics Thread

Hey guys. Most of us are probably in the same boat--our Adderall doesn't work and it's horrible and we can't function well and it's bull**** and we all know that, but there are other threads/forums to vent frustration. We need a thread with the basics to help us all get going again or to know what to avoid (even though that seems like all of them these days, ha.) PLEASE POST THE FOLLOWING: 1. MANUFACTURER OF YOUR RECENT ADDERALL PRESCRIPTION 2. XR OR IR? HOW MANY MG? COLOR/SHAPE/IMPRINT? (if possible) 3. ***PHARMACY NAME*** AND MONTH/YEAR OF SCRIPT 4. YOUR LOCATION (if you are comfortable with that) 5. SIDE EFFECTS/SYMPTOMS. GOOD? BAD? Generally speaking, chain pharmacies use the same manufacturer at all of their locations throughout the country and that will make it eas...

Replacement for former Teva/Barr Dextrostat 10 mg I/R

Shire US discontinued the mfg of DextroStat, at the end of the year 2007. Another bought out the license to produce DextroStat, but, it was also discontinued by Phys Total Care at the end of 2008, only available in 2008 in 5 mg, as the 10 mg was discontinued. I believe the license/patent, had expired, as well, as "Dextrostat" was a patented license by Richwood Pharmaceuticals of Kentucky beginning in the year 1994, and, ShireUS bought the patent rights, and, merged Richwood into ShireUS, with headquarters, in, Wayne PA 19087 soon after 9/11/2001. As we all know who are very used to Orange Book FDA ratings, the rare AA rated Dexedrine by Glaxo Smith Kline in 5mg I/R doses, and, DextroStat, was also AA rated by Orange Book out of 17 categories, but, both vanished from the shelves,...

yellow and black capsule pill with no markings

Found black and yellow capsules in my kids room they have no marking and no imprint. ## @Sumdub, Unfortunately all FDA approved prescriptions are required to have some sort of marking or imprint for identification, so my thinking is that it could literally be anything from a dietary supplement to a foreign, OTC or illicit drug. Have you tried talking with your kid to see if they can provide any information on what it's allegedly supposed to be? Since you found it in their bedroom I'd imagine they'd probably know something; and being the head of the household you should have every right to know what substances are brought into your home (if not but for his/her own safety). Another option would be to have the pill's contents analyzed by a lab in order to ensure an accurate...

Generic Adderall U31 Peach

Just wondered if anyone else has gotten a prescription filled with a round peach pill imprint U 31 on one side, and quarter score on the other ## Yes I got that generic yesterday ## @peter, Just to confirm, a round orange/peach colored pill marked with U 31 is in fact identified as a 30mg generic Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine tablet. The manufacturer is listed as Aurolife Pharmaceuticals, based in New Jersey. I haven't tried them personally, but did come across a few posts on here stating that they weren't nearly as good as some of the other versions on the market. However, if you're not used to using other brands/generics, I'm not sure if you'd even notice any significant differences at all. I hope this info helps! ## They're horrible. I typically don't no...

Generic Adderall brands

I am very concerned and confused about why generic Adderall brands are so all over the place!! I usually get Aurora brand and I'm fine with it but last month I got this corpharma brand crap, it made my stomach ache and gave me a headache! It was terrible. Back on Aurora brand and I feel better again but wtf is up with this BS?! I'm thinking about having my dr write no substitutions on my script and just pay for the name brand adderall. I've tried it in the past and it is by far superior. Motivation, concentration, and energy are all together with minimal side effects. Anyone relate? ## Yep, it's a huge problem (variation in effectiveness) and it's gotten worse over the years. Main problem. With generics the FDA allows up to 20% difference in the "main", activ...

generic adderall xr 30 mg

Which is the better generic company? I just got GLOBAL and they are like taking sleeping pills. I'm sleeping 20 to 24 hours a day for days. If I didn't need to pee, I might never wake up. Can any body help me before I go back to sleep? ## Ive never heard of anybody falling asleep on adderall thats really weird....ur the first one i heard of that slept on them...maybe its intensifying another medication u take. I would talk to a doctor and tell them it done a friend like that u dont have to say u done that...goodluck ## Everyone is different. Been taking it for 15+ years and still have different reactions with the many brands or foods/drinks. Magnesium is another . Maybe get ir not the xr. xr drags the dose out over time. I hate the XR for this reason. Maybe its time to up your d...

mp 447 yellow round

Are these tablets adderall, and are they a good brand? ## Anyone tried the yellow MP 447 30 mg generic adderall? These were just dispensed for my usual prescription. NDC 57664-647. Inactive ingredients: - Crospovidone - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Povidones - Starch, Corn - D&C Yellow No. 10 ## Even if someone does report their experience with these as being good, it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll end up having the same reaction. We all react/respond differently to the same meds, including the various binders and fillers in each tablet's composition. So my suggestion would be to try it for yourself if you want an authentic opinion. You can always ask your prescribing doctor to list this specific manufacturer's version of amphetamine/dextr...

Can't recall - ADD medicine

This is an organe (sherbert) color pill that I used to take for ADD. It was very helpful but I can't recall the name and I have moved to a different state and need the name of the medicine to tell my new docotr. It was scored in the middle and I thought it started with an A. ## adderall ## Adderall is the one that starts with an A, it contains mixed Amphetamine salts, and is used to treat ADHD, and narcolepsy. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, anorexia, and nervousness. Does that ring a bell?
