its white maybe a hint of yellow its tablet form can be cut in half and has a V or check mark on one sign almost like square root sign but nothing on the other....I was told it was 1mg xanax or alprazolam...anyone know?

If there are no additional numbers to the imprint, then no, it is not a prescription medication of any type.

The ones with just the V logo and nothing else are actually over the counter products. There is one that looks like this that contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic or store brand of Tylenol.

I am not sure if that's what this one is, because the company does make several different over the counter products. It's just the one that I am personally familiar with.

Actually that symbol you are talking about IS found on prescription medication. I believe it is Teva brand. And there are 0.5 mg alprazolam with the v marking and a football shape. The 0.5mg are light peach or light yellow. The 1mg are blue. But there should be a number on there. It is possible the number was rubbed off if it was in someones pocket or something.
