7 5 Mg Hydrocodone

I weigh 104.8lbs and have a impacted infected wisdom tooth. Would it be safe to take this dosage once a day for severe pain?? Thank you in advance :)

Hi, Courtney! I'm sorry you're in pain.

This is a pretty standard dose, but considering your size, you may want to just try half a tablet at once, especially if you aren't used to taking narcotics. The Hydrocodone in this is pretty potent.

I generally run between 117 and 120, but have found that since I rarely take them, even the 5/500mg dosage of this hits me very hard and I can only handle half of a tablet at once.

These are time released, so you can cut or break them, safely.

Unless you already have a tolerance to narcotics, then I'd really think it best to start small and see how it affects you. You can always take the other half, if it doesn't handle your pain.

How much Acetaminophen is in them?

It helps make the Hydrocodone more potent, though they are slowly cutting them all down to only 325mgs, but I think the one you have may be 750? Is that correct?

Since this medication contains a narcotic, it has the potential to be habit forming if taken regularly for a long period of time and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation.

It has 325mg acetaminophen in it. I took the whole tablet and it hit me pretty hard. I took half a tab yesterday and it didn't seem to do much.
