Dr gave small white pill 5mg oxii m w/ sq box around and 0552 on other side. Is this used for pain? Can they be snorted?

That's a 5mg Oxycodone tablet, it is a very potent narcotic analgesic and no, it is not safe to try to snort tablets, since they are not intended to be used in a such a manner.

Wow.....Seriously?......So yeah like verwon replied,pills aren't intended to be snorted.....What a "Dumbass" kinda question.....I struggle everyday with pain due to a car wreck I had back in '03,it's getting worse every day that passes.......I have no insurance so I have to resort to buying 'em on the street,which puts me in danger by the law............Uggh!......... I just wish I would've never got in that wreck.....Anyway,me complaining,isn't gonna help any,so I just try to let go and let GOD..........One day maybe I'll be pain free legally.........GOD BLESS

I just recently filled a prescription for roxicodone 30 mg and the pharmacist gave me a different pill. It looks like the Activast brand only these have no markings on either side. Is there a 30 mg roxicodone that fits this description or did the pharmacist give me the wrong medication? I am worried that if I take the medication that it may not be the right thing, however when I asked the pharmacist she assured me it was the proper medication. ( She is a new pharmacist and I feel safer with a second opinion.
