Is his dad a doctor? Only a doctor should be prescribing medications and suggesting treatment options.

Bupropion is an antidepressant that is also used to help with smoking cessation. It can cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and weight changes.

Look up wellbutrinxl.com. $50 for a 30 day supply. Made by Valeant and not a generic.

Wellbutrin brand Valeant makes 150 XL. Glaxokline makes brand wellbutrin 150SR. I had trouble with that. It caused my body to feel odd and I started coughing..switched to Valeant ...no problems.

That is extremely too expensive! I have to choose between feeding my children or taking care of my depression. That is so ridiculous. Lower your prices and help the common people.

I am Bi Polar and take 300mg of Xl daily. It is manufactured by Par Pharm. I have found it to be both a help for my depression and anxiety and a non smoking aid. I have quit smoking after twenty years and my cravings to smoke are no longer present. I was taking 400mg a day because of terrible anxiety and this made my hands shake a lot. The Dr. decreased my dose and this side effect is not present anymore. I hope this helps someone because the 300mg Xl seems to have a much milder side effect such as the jitters. I can tell you by cutting the 150mg sr tablet you are causing the medication to be released all at one time. The Sr Wellbutrin or Bupropion is sustained release so that your body gets a steady amount of drug throughout the day. This is what my Dr. has explained to me. He has told me this can cause anxiety or the jitters if the pill were to be cut in two. I hope this helps some people. Thank you, and good health.
