32mg Exalgo

Updated

Is there anything that works better. My Doc and I are looking a Internal pain pump. Which would put the drug straight in my spinal cord and I would have to go in once a month to get a refill. I don't know which drug will be used probably morphine.

Hello, Jeff! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.

What other medications have you tried?

Have you ever tried the Fentanyl patches?

This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Some pain doctors, if you have been on narcs for a long time for a good reason (if you have reached your tolerance level on most drugs..by the way..with some docs thats a red flag and you only get three, sometimes less and your out) will prescribe methadone for pain control. Can't get much higher than that, and it works really good at a starting dose of 80 mgs or preferably more but the Fed limit is like 120 mgs (that may have changed since I was on it). It worked great for me but I eventually had to get off of it due to reaching a tollerance (by the way, hard as hell to get off of due it getting in your bone marrow and it takes 6to8 weeks for your marrow to regenerate so look for a long hard ass ride of your cut from it). Fentanyl works good too, but not nearly as good, but you can always open the plastic and take super small doses, or ypu will surely overdose. You can put a tegraderm patch over it to make it deliver faster. I have found personally that 100 mg morphine works very good in combo with soma, lyrica, hydros, and a bezo, cause it is proven that the calmer you are the better your meds work)
