Hello, Essie! How are you?

This medication contains Codeine, which is an opiate, so no, it should not be used during pregnancy.

The FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

It would be best to speak to your doctor to find out what is safe for you to take.

Is there anything else I can help with?
