This is the older verson of Excedrin. It has 250mg acetaminophen, 250mg aspirin, and 60mg(I think it is 60) caffeine. Newer version is an oblong pill.

Actually, not necessarily an older version, it is just sold as Excedrin Migraine now, I just had a bottle my husband was using that had these exact pills in it, bought them at Eckerd, well it is actually the store version of Excedrin Migraine, but the same stuff. Regular Excedrin no longer includes the caffeine.

sure it still has caffeine in it. I get both the Excedrin regular and Excedrin extra strength, generic and brand name, (not excedrin headache.) I just looked at both bottles and they have caffeine in them.

Gee, that makes perfect sense, so there is basically no difference between the two anymore. How stupid is that?

Exactly! Just a price difference....a way to make more money! Though I think the headache ones might have a little more acetaminophen and ASA in it. The regular strength has 250mg of each, does the headache formula have 325mg? I think it might, but am not sure.

Nope, I just looked at the empty bottle I have from the Migraine Formula, same exact dosage as well, 250mgs.

Yes, seems that way, not the first company I have seen to do it that way either. Check out all those different toothpastes next time you are in the store. My DH got curious and started looking at the labels, they say they do different things like whitening and etc, but the ingredients are all the same as the regular old basic toothpaste on the shelf that is several $$ cheaper. The only one we found that had any difference in ingredients were the ones for sensitive teeth.
