Found it in my hubs truck. Decided to be nice and wash it for him. I knew he was a pill addict previously. I knew he took suboxone before. For the last 5 years he has supposedly been off all that crap. So my question is why would you buy this drug? I'm assuming it makes you feel high? Or would he need it if he took too many pills again? Also trying to figure out how to approach him about it?
Thanks. He denied, then admitted after I said I looked it up. Got angry, poured it in his drink, which he then poured on the ground and squished with his foot. I guess I just don't understand why you want to take suboxone if you've not been taking other pain meds. But the mood swings makes sense, his brushing of teeth as soon as he gets home makes sense. His constant lack of compassion for others. Idk, not what I want in my husband, but I love him, took an oath, so I will deal with it best I can. I have asked him to go to marriage counseling before and he has refused. I printed marital worksheets that may help us communicate better that I have yet to ask him if he will try. So we shall see. But if he is an active opiate user, it changes everything about our marriage. Basically I feel it's all a lie at this point.

This drug is highly addictive. It's very expensive and very dangerous. It causes severe mood swings. It should come up on a typical drug panel. If he denies it then tell him to pee in a cup for you and if he refuses he's guilty, simple as that. I'm so sorry about your situation. I've been there twice now. It's a fight but once the person is clean it's worth it and if they refuse to get help be it from you or a professional then you can walk away knowing you offered your help and your heart and gave it all you could. They turned it away for a pill. Another common symptom is leg/back pain from withdrawals. Never fails. Best luck.
