ADD / ADHD Overview

Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by inattention, or excessive activity and impulsivity, which are otherwise not appropriate for a person's age.[1][2][11][12] Some individuals with ADHD also display difficulty regulating emotions or problems with executive function.[13][14][15][2] For a diagnosis, the sympt...

Adderall manufactured by Teva not working

I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA? ## You'd have to report any complaints to the FDA, at 888-INFO-FDA. However, there may not actually be anything to report. They do allow generic medications to differ from the name brands, in the amount of the active ingredient, by up to plus or minus 20%. This is considered an acceptable therapeutic window. For most people, these differences don't cause any problems, but if someone is sensitive to medications, it means that one with a slightly ...

Generic Adderall U31 Peach

Just wondered if anyone else has gotten a prescription filled with a round peach pill imprint U 31 on one side, and quarter score on the other ## Yes I got that generic yesterday ## @peter, Just to confirm, a round orange/peach colored pill marked with U 31 is in fact identified as a 30mg generic Amphetamine + Dextroamphetamine tablet. The manufacturer is listed as Aurolife Pharmaceuticals, based in New Jersey. I haven't tried them personally, but did come across a few posts on here stating that they weren't nearly as good as some of the other versions on the market. However, if you're not used to using other brands/generics, I'm not sure if you'd even notice any significant differences at all. I hope this info helps! ## They're horrible. I typically don't no...

Generic Adderall brands

I am very concerned and confused about why generic Adderall brands are so all over the place!! I usually get Aurora brand and I'm fine with it but last month I got this corpharma brand crap, it made my stomach ache and gave me a headache! It was terrible. Back on Aurora brand and I feel better again but wtf is up with this BS?! I'm thinking about having my dr write no substitutions on my script and just pay for the name brand adderall. I've tried it in the past and it is by far superior. Motivation, concentration, and energy are all together with minimal side effects. Anyone relate? ## Yep, it's a huge problem (variation in effectiveness) and it's gotten worse over the years. Main problem. With generics the FDA allows up to 20% difference in the "main", activ...

Can't recall - ADD medicine

This is an organe (sherbert) color pill that I used to take for ADD. It was very helpful but I can't recall the name and I have moved to a different state and need the name of the medicine to tell my new docotr. It was scored in the middle and I thought it started with an A. ## adderall ## Adderall is the one that starts with an A, it contains mixed Amphetamine salts, and is used to treat ADHD, and narcolepsy. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, anorexia, and nervousness. Does that ring a bell?

Teva Generic Adderall IR 30MG Tablet

I noticed The last time I had this dispensed, that the marking -30- on 13 out of 60 tablets were upside down relative to the front of the tablet. I have never noticed this before, and I also noticed a complete lack of efficacy. I take this for narcolepsy. The date it was dispensed was December 4, 2020. ## There is no specific way the marking has to be, it is solely dependent on how the pills fell into the press at that particular manufacturing facility. However, I am sorry about the issue you had with efficacy. Has this ever happened, before? Have you spoken to your doctor? You may need a dosage adjustment. The FDA warns that Adderall carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nervousness, and hyperactivity.

Can Stacker 3 XPLC cause a false positive for Amphetamines?

On probation and failed a drug test for amphetamines. I have been free of drugs since Dec of 2016, but I have recently been taking Stacker 3 XPLC. Could this be what caused me fail for amphetamines? Although they no longer contain ephedra. ## I would like to know if Stacker 3 or Vapo Inhalers can cause false positives in urine drug tests for methanthetamines? I tested positive at my last 2 Dr appointments. I’ve never tried ANY kind of drug. The only things I take on regular basis are both Stacker 2 & 3, Sudafed, and I use Vapo Inhalers a lot due to my sinus problems. ## I'm assuming so since I've had the same issue..it looks like someone above also has. ## Sudafed may cause your results to show positive when you submit lab work. The person giving you the test should as...

New Generic 30 Mg Adderall Xr (all orange w/ R 3061 on them) Not As Effective

please share your experience with this never seen before, less effective drug that two different pharmacy's have given to me in last two months. they make me fall asleep! ## Hi shaun, When you switch brand names or manufacturers, the drug itself doesn't change, but rather the binders or fillers that they put with it. Certain "inactive" ingredients that may or may not be present in each brand, are actually detrimental to how the drug is metabolized and used by your body. Because everyone is different, your body may respond favorably with one medication and not the other (even if they're both Adderall Xr), due to how you feel or based on whatever side effects present themselves. Although I haven't taken this medication, I can say that they probably have an array of...

mp 447 yellow round

Are these tablets adderall, and are they a good brand? ## Anyone tried the yellow MP 447 30 mg generic adderall? These were just dispensed for my usual prescription. NDC 57664-647. Inactive ingredients: - Crospovidone - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Povidones - Starch, Corn - D&C Yellow No. 10 ## Even if someone does report their experience with these as being good, it doesn't necessarily mean that you'll end up having the same reaction. We all react/respond differently to the same meds, including the various binders and fillers in each tablet's composition. So my suggestion would be to try it for yourself if you want an authentic opinion. You can always ask your prescribing doctor to list this specific manufacturer's version of amphetamine/dextr...

TEVA 30mg vs AUROBINDO PHARM Amphetamine Salts (Adderall)

For several years I've taken TEVA 30mg Amphetamine Salts 2x daily with consistent positive relief. Focus and a feeling that I could have a productive day gave me a reason to get out of bed. On 8/21/2014 all that changed to nervous anxiety filled days staying home. What caused the dramatic change quickly became clear. The generic Adderall produced by AUROBINO PHARM which my regular CVS Pharmacy filled my RX with on 8/21 was less than effective it was exasperating the very symptoms for which it was prescribed. FDA is an ineffective bureaucracy controlled by lobbyists for foreign and domestic pharmaceutical companies making huge profits in generic drugs at the expense of the health and quality of life of others. The manufacturing of inferior or possibly harmful medications by greedy co...

dextroamphetamine and medicare

My mother was told that her doctor could no longer prescribe the dextroamphetamine that she has been taking, at minimum dose, for oer 50 years. She takes it for ADHD and narcolepsy. Her doctor tells her that it is no longer legal to "provide" it for her because congress has made it illegal to "provide" to any medicaid patient for any reason. Can someone help me follow this up? If the story she is telling me is true, I need to write my congressman to protest. Since when does the Federal government have the right to interfere in our private health care needs - she is not asking them to pay for the medication, she has simply LOST THE RIGHT TO HAVE IT PRESCRIBED TO HER. Is there anyone else out there that thinks this is WRONG?! ## This is not true. I take 2, 10mg dextroamphe...
