Zydol

Hi there, I have a strange question that i cant find the answer for. I took Tramadol/Zydol for around 7 months for back pain, ever since i stopped taking it i cannot get the effects of alcohol - e.g the buzz, euphoria. Please note it is NOT a tolerance issue. I can drink and drink until im sick and not feel anything. (it was just to evaluate how much i could drink/prove it wasn't tolerance) I have been in abstinence from Tramadol for about a year now. Ihave taken this drug in 200 mg twice a day for over 2o yrs and for several yrs have suffered from shaking palpatations dizzyness the tablets were called Zydol these are no longer on market and changed to Marol worried as not taken before Ichecked information leaflet to find that all my symptoms are side effects of Tramadol after notifing my Doctor have now been given pain patches but no adivce as to how to stop the old meds tried cutting down to just one 200mg per day and now I get depressed and unable to cope any advice would be truly gratful I don't want to live my life like this for ever ## Well, you shouldn't be afraid to ask your doctor any questions you have regarding how to switch from one medication to another, but in most cases, you can make a clean switch.
