I was taking 2-scripts for oxy and now taking Zubsolv but just ran out after 65 days. I'm miserable not as bad as withdrawal from oxy but bad enough. I've got cold chills and sweating at the same time. Horrible feeling. Did anyone on here experience this when they were finished with Zubsolv? ## Hello, Matt! How are you? Zubsolv contains a very potent narcotic, Buprenorphine, so yes, it will cause withdrawals if you suddenly stop taking it, without tapering off very slowly. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. What dosage were you taking? ## Hi, I was on hydrocodone 10 mg and 100 mg nyucenta. The reason I was on those is because I have had 2 foot/ank...

I had knee replacement surgery in March. I got up to high dosages of oxy (100 mg/day of the short acting 10mg pink pills). I wanted to get off the oxy without tapering for weeks so I went to a doctor who prescribed Zubsolv, because it would be "easy" to withdraw from. I was only on Zubsolv for 10 days, my highest dosage was 3-4 of the sublingual/day. He told me to taper for two days and quit. It has been seven days and there is no end sight of the withdrawal symptoms. In fact today is the worst day. I've been on Prozac for years and continue to take my regular dosage (30 mg). Could this be prolonging my withdrawal? Also, how long can this possibly last? I have two kids, one autistic and have been bedridden and haven't eaten in 4 days. ## Hello, Richard! How are you doing...

I have been taking Zubsolv for about 6 months now, prior to that I was on Suboxone. I preferred to stay on Suboxone but since insurance companies seem to rule the world I have no choice but to get zubsolv unless I want to pay hundreds of dollars. I had been taking 4mg of Suboxone and making it just fine for over a year on the same dose, after switching to zubsolv, I was originally taking 2 of the smaller triangular pills 1.4/.36 and I was constantly struggling, I was kicking and achy like I was having withdrawal. I told my doctor so she prescribed me 3 of them now a day. I'm not sure how it compares to Suboxone if I'm taking more or less. I am still feeling the same symptoms and they are worse than they were. My whole body aches my legs kick it feels just as bad as when I was ac...

Just want to tell about my story. I was taking 9 perc 10s at a time which is a very expensive habit to have plus I have a family to care for. I got addicted because I abused my script due to lupus then my mom died and it all went down hill from there. Anyway I got on zubsolv 5.7 took it 3 times a day for 4 days then w times a day 10 days. I stopped taking it for 2 days and then for the next 2 weeks took it randomly skipping days. And now it's been 7 days since my last dose. No withdrawals yet. And hopefully I won't have any but the cravings are strong but also the pain is real from the lupus. Not sure what I'm gonna do about the pain but for now I'm free. ## Hi keyra, Thanks for sharing your story. It sure helps paint a picture for what someone else might come to expect ...

Zubsolv Buprenorphine + Naloxone

Buprenorphine is an opioid used to treat opioid use disorder, acute pain, and chronic pain.[8] It can be used under the tongue (sublingual), in the cheek (buccal), by injection (intravenous and subcutaneous), as a skin patch (transdermal), or as an implant.[8][9] For opioid use disorder, it is typically started when withdrawal symptoms have begun and for the first two days of treatment under direct observation of a health-care provider.[...

My one year of zubsolv is done 7/1/17. I am terrified and need to taper and quickly. Where do I start ? How can I do this? I have and my 8 year old to care for. Husband passed and only living parent. I want to be a good mother. I only take the zubsolv. I realize now I have been fooling myself. ## It's not as bad as people would have you think. You will feel bad for a couple of weeks. And it will be hard to sleep. But you can find something at the drug store that will help you get by the hard parts. But it's not as bad as you think. ## Thank you kindly for responding. You make me feel so much better. I NEEDED an optimistic approach if I'm to do this. I did find a site "how to get off Suboxone without withdrawals"that seemed to be helpful. Start tapering off, DLPA, oth...

Hi, I just started taking zubsolv and I hardly feel any different. I have been taking opiates for years. I am not feeling horrible withdraws with subzolv but I don't feel normal, and I'm really craving a pill. However, I have been prescribed suboxone before and feel as though they work a lot better then zubsolv. Any advice/experiences/thoughts? ## What dosage does your doctor have you starting at? The goal isn't to create a high, but rather to prevent withdrawal and cravings, but your dose might not be high enough for you. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## Can anyone tel...

I've been taking opiates for the past year now after being clean for a year and nine months... I have some zubsolvs 5.7mg. I have four of them... How should I go about getting off? ## Hello, Jesseboi! How are you? You have to wait until you are in full withdrawal, before starting the Zubsolv, otherwise it may throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I wonder if this medication is what they say it is I feel a conspiracy??? Anyone else??? ## Absolutely!!! I was on 2 mg suboxone films for at least 5 years, until Independant Health decided to go to bed with the makers of zubsolv. It DOES NOT work the same way!!! The meds half life is not at long at sub was. I could go a day and a half without feeling withdrawal symptoms when on suboxone. Not zubsolv!!! After 24 hours I had major withdrawal! Plus they made it impossible to wean off of zubsolv! At least with the zub films you could cut off pieces to wean. What do you do w that tiny white tablet??? Thank you crap healthcare system we have in the US. Insurance companies really have is all by the balls. Think Im just gonna end up paying out of pocket for suboxone. I know it works! ## March ...

Why is there no information anywhere on how to get off suboxone or zubsolv.... since recently I was switched to the zubsolv and I hate it. Any success stories out there? If so, please share how u did it. Been addicted to opiates for four yrs and on synthetics now for a yr. My doctor is useless and I'd rather hear it from someone who's lived it anyways. ## There is absolutely no way to avoid withdrawals from opiates. ## Subs are made to be taken long term, all depending on your abuse and history. my Dr had me on it for 6 yrs. I have the understanding that I will be on it the rest of my life due to the damage I've done abusing H, oxycintin 80s, roxys, morphine for a good decade ...sub's are harder to get off of then anything out there, H included, due to its Half Life. I was going to a sub dr for 3 yrs best doctor ive ever met... he went to jail 6 months ago n i have an appt monday with a new one but i was able to get suboxone while trying to find a new dr which might i add $1000 for the first visit is just ridiculous... should i go for the strips or zubsolv? ## I take 2 zubsolvs 5.7 mg tablets a day. I used to take the 8mg suboxone strips. Trust me stick with the suboxone. I would rather have 1 suboxone strip than 2 zubsolv tabs but my insurance doesn't cover suboxone. ## Omg subzolve SUCKS ive been on suboxone for a few years and my ins wont cover it anymore so now im suppose to be on subzolve and it has done NOTHING but throw in wicked withdrawal. Stick to subs id do anything for suboxone back ## I think it's a little ironic that the "b...

I’ve been on zubsolv for close to 8 years (farrrr longer than I would’ve liked). This was to treat my bad habits during my teen years. I’m on the smallest does, with one pill lasting about 3 days. I had surgery yesterday and was very up front that I want no narcotics under any circumstances. Well they gave me a dose of something (what exactly, I don’t know) while I was under because they said it was necessary. Seemed pointless since they knew I took zubsolv the evening prior. Anyway, the narcotic dose they gave me was between 7-10am yesterday (surgery began at 7, I was released at 10am). It’s now been 24 hours since then. Can I take my zubsolv? I’m terrified of going into precipitated withdrawals. Is there a time frame, as in hours, you’re suppo...

Has anyone here had any experience weaning themselves off of zubsolv? I've been on it for almost a year now and I really want to get completely off. I've gotten myself down to only half a pill a day but when I try to stop completely I still go through terrible withdrawal. Any suggestions? ## I have been on it for 7-8months with subutex, suboxone, some other one, and Zubzolv. IT IS HELL!!! I've been on the above meds off and on, but this time it's been 3 years. ## What dosage are you taking? Cutting down to only half a pill may still be too much and thus, could be the reason for the withdrawals. However, without your dosage information, it's hard to say. Have you consulted your doctor for assistance? The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate, so it has the poten...

Has anyone experienced this? Ive only been on it for 3 days and have never had anger issues. Trying this because sub strips caused tongue sores and suboxone, so much saliva tha I might not have been getting its full effect. I am my dr.s first patient on it so Im kind of his guinie pig. Again, the all of a sudden anger is really bothering me.. thanks ## Hello, Ellen! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've been having. Are you on an equivalent dose? That could be a symptom of withdrawal. Have you experienced any other symptoms? I am currently on (2) Zubsolve tablets per day, and along with initial suboxone treatment, this has been a nightmare for me to try to get off of. My body reacts terribly with withdrawal symptoms much worse than any opiate pills I took. It's as if I am living in a really dark tunnel, and can barely get out of bed. In my mind, 3 years of being in an Opiate Treatment Program has only resulted in more money for the Doctor's and Insurance. I so badly now want off, because if I run out, my body becomes violently ill and I am unable to function. I almost always take more than my recommended and prescribed dose, hello....I am an addict, which always leads to the same insanity of going without or calling the clinic nurse and doctor who are less than happy with you for taking more. Man th...

I have been taking only 1mg a day of the zubsolv pill. How long till I am safe to just not take it anymore? And is it even staying in my body, because of the small amount? Can I safely stop? I have only been taking this for a few weeks. Please help. I wanna get off them... ## Why are you taking Zubsolv? This answer is needed, before anyone can know if it's okay for you to stop taking it. It is most commonly used to help treat drug addiction, and if that's why you were taking it, it may not be safe for you to just stop, due to the danger of withdrawals, which could include symptoms such as seizures, rebound pain, rebound depression, mood changes, and headaches. Ref: Zubsolv Information Are you on any other medications? What has your doctor advised?

Hi all. I was prescribed opiates for 2 years. Taking 5-7 30mg pill a day. I would take about 15mg every 2 hours and sometimes I would take a 30mg. I went to see a doctor about 4 months back and she prescribed me Zubsolv. Two 5.7 a day. I was on it for 2 weeks and got extremely depressed and switched back to the blue opiates. 4 months later, im trying to stop this horrible addiction and started taking my left over Zubsolvs. This is my 3rd day. Ive been taking 1/2 in the AM and another 1/2 in the PM and feel fine with some minor depression but OK. My questions is how long should I take this for? I don't want to get hooked on these and I know Zubsolv withdrawals are much worse the opiate withdrawals. My doctor wanted me on them for a few months and I said no and stopped going. My plan ...

It's been 20 hrs since I used an opiate. Am I safe to take my zubsolve I have been prescribed. ## This medication cannot be taken, until you are in full withdrawal, otherwise, it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. There is no specific time frame that I can give you, because it can vary from person to person. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Yes - take 1 soon as you start to feel withdrawals. ## I've been taking 8mg Suboxone and now I have 5.7 mg Zubsolv. How am I gonna feel? I'm kinda scared after reading the post. ## I took opiates at 10 pm. How long do I wait to take Zubsolv?

My sister stolen my last 2 fentynol patches. After 2 days I started going thru severe withdrawal. The cold sweats, muscle spasms, diarrhea, palpitations and then throw up. A friend gave me a Zubsolv, 5.7. I broke it in fourths and put it under my tounge. With a few minutes my withdrawal symptoms were gone. I have 2 days to go before I get my patches, and I only have that one pill. Will I be able to feel my patch when I put it on? I don't want the high, just block my pain. Will the fentynol still work for my pain? If not how long after taking Zubsolv will it be before my patch works for my pain? ## Unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you need to wait at least 3 days, before the Fentanyl will work, again. I've been on zubsolv 5.7 for 6 months and I'm getting myself down to a quarter of a pill a day. I'll take a quarter of one for 6 days and I'll run out. Does anyone how how long the withdraw and the half life will last? ## Hello, Joe! How are you? The withdrawal can vary from person to person, because much of it depends on your own body chemistry, so there's no precise time frame I can give you for that. It may be a week, or it may take a month. The elimination time can take anywhere from 10 to 252 hours.
