Zoxan 500

I have had an Asthma attack now for 6 weeks. I have taken amoxycillan for 4 of these weeks but my phlegm is still green. I was caught out in the rain in June and 3 days later started with a runny nose etc. I am very breathless and find cooking for the family really difficult as I cannot breath. Any ideas. I do have some Zoxon 500mg, should I change the antiobiotic over to these as I believe they are for a wide spectrum of infections. I have suffered Asthma for my entire life (70 years), been on daily prednisolone for 50 years now but cannot get down below 30mg a day.for the past 5 weeks. Any ideas. I'm not panicking yet. I would like to know if Zoxan 500 is used to treat blood infection. If so, for what level of infgection it is used. Mild, average or serious? ## Ciprofloxacin is reported to be the active ingredient in Zoxan. Ciprofloxacin is used to treat a number of infections including: infections of bones and joints, endocarditis, gastroenteritis, malignant otitis externa, respiratory tract infections, cellulitis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, anthrax, chancroid, among others. The term "among others" is very vague, so I think it best to contact your doctor to confirm its use for blood infection. I personally couldn't find any info relating it to that treatment, but your local doctor or pharmacy should be able to clarify that for you.

I have viral fever, and i took 2 doses of ceftas 200mg tablet, but later i found that it would be not any helpful so i did not take any further dose of ceftas 200mg .Now my fever has gone , but i could not eat or drink much anything, is it any kind of bad affects for not completing the antibiotic course? ## there are different types of bacterial infections possible. A viral fever doesnt mean you should take ceftas 200 only. I took 4 tablets of zoxan 500 on an interval of 12 hrs.I was being treated for a bacterial infection on foreskin.I am now experiencing rashes on my body.
