Zolpidem Fakes?

I have taken Zolpidem for about 10 years (10mg most nights). I live in Thailand, and I can get them from a pharmacy...although the quality seems to change. The latest ones are called Zopalet and have MP on one side of the white oval tablet (normal white 10mg shape like Sanofi style but these seem to be roughly-made and chalky, not smooth and shiny or well-made by the press machine). Does anyone know what these are? What they contain? They seem a bit different in action. Weaker and not pure either. I have a fat liver already so I want to avoid problems.
