By taking 2, you are already exceeding the maximum amount that should be taken daily. However, if it stopped working for you that fast, it may not be the right medication for you to use and you may need to try something else.

A few days ago, I came home from working an evening shift and drank one 24 ounce can of beer (officially two drinks). 3 hours later I took my usual dose of zolpidem, which I use approx 3 times each week. I really thought nothing of it at the time. I didn't use them together at the same time. I don't get high, I don't look for a buzz. I don't remember anything else. I got up at some point and took more (i assume, because the bottle was halfway gone. I don't remember doing this, it's not something I have ever done and I have always followed prescribed dosing.
