Based on my research, 10 mgs daily of the immediate release formula is the maximum recommended dose of Zolfresh (Zolpidem). There's really no good reason for a person to take anything over that; especially 50x that!! According to a drug monograph on wikipedia, an overdose of Zolpidem may lead to too much sedation as well as impaired respiratory function. Either of these could potentially develop into a coma, & in some cases death. I started taking zolfresh 10mg when I was sent to the hostel as I was not able to sleep due to the stress which further increased it and made it worse but I often found my self awake in the middle of the night and out of desperation took another 5 mg tablet..now after a month and a half am at home for about five days and I have reduced my intake of zolfresh to only 5 mg a night..I want to stop it altogether but I can't sleep without it wha must I do..I need help please

My body is dependent to Zolfresh 10mg (4 tablets at night and 2 during the day), combined with 2 tabs of SP. I had a seizure a few days back and was hospitalized... where they tried to taper the drug... I did not sleep well at night there. I lied and said I was fine and got discharged. Now they put me on antidepressants. So I take them along with my normal dosage. How can I come off these medications? I have 2 little boys who I love to death.

I have been taking zolpidem 10mg for many years and all was perfect. Because of anxiety and disturbed sleep I have been prescribed Zolfresh of 10mg potency by my Doctor, a well-known Physician in Delhi. My Doctor is MD Medicine. I have been under his treatment for more than a decade. I have been taking elicia 2 mg for the past 7.5 months and now I want to skip it totally. Few months before I tried taking half and 3/4 of elicia 2 mg, but I faced sleep disorder problems once in 60-70 days of taking half tablet of elicia 2mg.
