I am using zincovit tablets manufactured by m/s.apex laboratories,tamilnadu,India since last three months.first I have taken daily one tablet in the morning after breakfast. Please don't take this tablet. It can be very harmful. I took only one tablet and the next day/afternoon I had ongoing breathing problems, nasal blockage, constipation, dry mouth, allergic side effects, fever, swelling of face, vomiting, skin rash, skin burning, hot flashes, sweating, tiredness, itching, full night of not being able to sleep, upset stomach, bad cough, bitter taste in the mouth, and diarrhea. I visited my doctor and she confirmed it's the Zincovit multivitamin tablets side effects only. Now it's been over 4 days and still I am experiencing skin burning, nasal blockage and tiredness. Please avoid these tablets. It's very dangerous to one's health. The govt. should ban these kinds of tablets. It's one of the worst tablets I've taken in my life. ...

Actually I have pcos. Doctor prescribed me krimson along with zincovit. At one place I read that krimson shouldn't be used with additional hormonal contraceptives. I am taking Tide-5 and Cilacar-20 along with other medicines like Nodosis 500, Urotone- 25 , Zincovit after breakfast . After 2 hours my b.p is 110/60 . My age is 77 yr. I have poor control of passing urine since prostate operation 20 yr. back and 20% kidney damage since E-coli infection one yr. back . It appears that my urine-control has further worsened and more more quantity of urine is passing now . Also I feel exhausted and fatigued in the day time , particularly in the forenoon . can we use zincold tablets for cold ## Hi chappu, From what I've researched, Zincold contains the three active ingredients Cetirizine + Phenylephrine + Paracetamol, which are marketed for use as an antihistamine, a decongestant, and a pain reliever/fever reducer for treating various symptoms that may be associated with the common cold (such as congestion, sinus pressure, discomfort, etc). So while Zincold wont take the cold away, it looks like its supposed to help with some of the symptoms that often come with a cold.
