My daughter has been diagnosed with typhoid and the doctor prescribed zifi cv 200 tablet twice a day. She has a throat infection along with a high fever of 105 deg. fahrenheit. She has been taking the drug since the last 48 hours and has developed diarrhea. Since I cannot get in touch with the attending doctor I'm intimated to continue the normal course of the antibiotics and am also concerned about the side effects if any. ## Diarrhea can be a normal side effect of an antibiotic, according to the U.S. FDA. She may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and non-allergic skin rash. You are doing the right thing, it is best to continue the course of treatment, unless her doctor instructs otherwise. I am suggestted Zifi 200 for prostatitis. I took it for 10 days, and it g ot better. However it recurs. If I take this tablet for long time say a month( 2 tabs a day), is that ok. ## Zifi contains the active ingredient Cefexime, which is an antibiotic used to treat or prevent infections. After four days my body temp. became normal. Hence I thought that how long should I take this treatment. I am now completely well. I suffer from throat infection frequently and my family phsysian prescribe ZIFI 200 twice daily for 5 days.
