There are 6 tablets in the bottle. How many do you take? There no instructions. ## Hi Jet, From what I could gather, "Azitromicina" or "Azithromycin" is the active ingredient in this drug. The dosage information I found for Azithromycin states that (500 mg) should be taken orally on the first day followed by (250 mg) orally once a day on days 2 through 5 (which adds up to 6 pills in total). Please post back if you have any more questions, I hope this helps! ## Thank you for this information, I needed it as well. ## Can I use Zertalin for a tooth infection? My tooth is killing me and nothing else seems to be helping.

I have a slight fever and coughing and chest hurts. I have a bottle of zertalin azitromicini 6 500 mg tablets. This is a z-pack. Do I take one a day for six days.? ## I have a slight fever cough chest congestion and chest hurts when I cough. I took 1 500 mg of zertalin azithromycin today. There r 6 in the bottle. Do I take 1 per day for 6days ## Hello, Doreen! How are you feeling? This is an antibiotic, so it should only be taken, if your doctor confirms the presence of an infection. If you have a cold, it is caused by a virus, not a bacterial infection, so antibiotics aren't appropriate and will do nothing to treat it. The normal dosing, for many infections, is a 500mg starter dose, the 250mgs per day for the next 4 days. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including...

My ear is throbbing. ## Based on my research, Zitromax (Azitromicina) is a macrolide antibiotic prescribed to treat a variety of bacterial infections; including ear infections. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Azithromycin Details Did your doctor also provide you with any dosing instructions? I lost my bottle of Clindamycin. Can I start taking Zertalin in replace of Clindamycin? ## Hello, Dori! How are you? Zertralin contains the active ingredient Azithromycin, which is a similar antibiotic that is used to treat bacterial infections and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, it might not be the best antibiotic to treat your current infection. Antibiotics aren't a controlled substance, so your doctor should be able to replace it, if you inform them of what happened. Is there anything else I can help with?

What can I do for diahrea I had diahrea now for three days ## Hello, Rolande! How are you? Has there been any change? This medication is an antibiotic, so as reported by the U.S. FDA, it can actually cause diarrhea as a side effect, along with nausea, dizziness and headache, thus it may not be the right choice. Have you consulted your doctor? It is important to determine what's causing the diarrhea, so you can discover what the proper treatment would be, if any is required. Has anything changed in your diet, recently? Are you on any other medications?

I have a bladder infection. Can I use zertalin azitromicina 250mg to cure it? If so, what dosage? ## According to Medlineplus.gov, Azitromicina (Azithromycin) is used to treat certain bacterial infections (ears, lungs, sinuses, skin, throat, and reproductive organs), including bronchitis, pneumonia and venereal diseases. I, however, did not see any information specifically stating an indication for bladder infections (or UTI's). That said, I think it would be important to consult your prescribing doctor and/or pharmacist just to be sure. It is also your prescribing doctor's duty to inform their patient about what dose to take for best results. Nevertheless, my guess is since its mechanism of action is so broad, bladder infections may not be out of the question. I hope this helps!

My Husband Takes Medication (Altace) For High Blood Pressure Is It Safe for Him To Take Zertalin Azitromicina 500 Mg ## Altace contains the active ingredient Ramiprim and I haven't found any problems or interactions listed between it and the antibiotic Azithromycin, though you should always double check this information to be safe. Since the Azithromycin is an antibiotic, it may cause side effects such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Are there any other questions? I have a throat infection... feels like strep. I have a box of 3, 500mg brand Charyn Azitromicina... i also have a bottle of Zertalin brand azitromicina 500mg (5 pills) They are both azitromicina, just different brands and different qty's. When should use a 3 pack vs a 5 pack? ## Hi Blake, In general, most antibiotics are taken for a course of 7-10 days. I've had a similar upper respiratory infection before and was prescribed penicillin 500mg to take 2-3 times a day for a week or until the script was all used up. So I guess when it comes to a 3 pack vs a 5 pack, maybe what matters is simply having enough to get through a full week? Have you discussed any of this with your prescribing doctor yet? Hope you are feeling better!

At the suggestion of a hotel doctor I bought Azitromicina 500mg for the treatment of a chest infection in MX. Tried to submit a claim for the cost via my US insurance as they say they reimburse worldwide RX expenses. But now they want the 11 digit 'national drug code' or no payout. I checked the FDA NDC database but: 1. it states all NDC's are 10 digit and: 2. obviously this is not a US product and therefore not in there. How can I find what I need to get my costs back? It is Zertalin Azitromicina 500mg (Collins Farmaceuticos) 6 tablets in a white jar with silver/black/blue label. The pharmacist 'said' it was a 2 course pack for 3 days I.E. 1 tablet per day for 3 days (2 courses contained). Is this correct also? I usually have known ZPak or Azithromycin to be 2 on th...
